Another good camp something to be said about being close like you were. Nice when you dont have a lot of time. Just pull up and set up Bottom line you were out in the woods camping with a nice smokey fire. That’s OK in my book
Looks like a great night. I think after watching your videos with it, I'll be skipping that stove. Just seems like too much work to get it together correctly. Plus I just really love using my alcohol stoves.
Great outing, awesome view of the lake through the woods, to bad so many people on the go but it's the time of year , I see what you mean about those stove grates I'm thinking the way you had it initially it would draw and burn better as oppose to the grates right on the bottom but I guess it will still draw through those openings front and back , I'd like to see a screen or smaller series of holes front and back , like to said the large openings allows for sparks to escape for sure. Your neighbors needed a Portable Solar Power Station LOL. Glad you had a great night and the neighbors didn't keep you awake. It's great to get away like that for a night. I agree. Getting out there is the important part. The nice thing about camping next to the car, it gives you more time to relax by the fire.

Yeah! It is very fiddly to get it together. Works good but a pain to set up.
