Worlds Greatest Song Of All Time - Simply The Best !! 100 Billions ❤ for this epic and timeless music ! This is music from an another star
I'm 71 and really love this song. I haven't heard it in many years. Thank you
I’m 73 and feel the same way. My favorite rendition is Andy Williams.
I'm 72 years & a young boy when this came out. Mega-hit for Mancini, and an absolutely beautiful song! Thanks Henry Mancini for the score & Johnny Mercer for the lyrics!
Autumn Leaves too
You should search JACOB COLLIER doing this live - with the audience singing along - there are MANY videos/versions -- it's so beautiful i had to let you know.
I listen to this...2024...beautiful
Henry Mancini was truly a genius.
Thank you Mr big
This song will always remind me of my grandma, it played on her house radio often..she always had music on. Sweet memory 🥲
❤
Beautiful music.Only true hearts will understand..
Why only true heart understand......
one of the greatest songs and pieces of music ever written from a golden era that is long gone but not forgotten.... as a young child this was magical and full of hope, and now in my older years it sings a memory i so long for again.
Yeh, I have it on my playlist
And I just love it
I imagine dancing at my wedding with the man I wanted to marry, but he was never interested in me.
It truly is a Beautiful song
Blessings ❤🎉
@@hims12 i hope you still found happiness... i seen my mum and dad dancing to this at balls when i was little... they stayed together all their lives. kind of the fairytale story. both had the same birthday but 5 yrs apart. married for 64yrs till my dad passed last year at 90... this song reminds me of him and how we'll all be crossing Moon River in style one day... i hope my dad is that huckleberry friend, waitin' round the bend for me when i get there.
Thanks a lot Mr. Henry Mancini 🎼🎵🎶🥰🥰🥰
There are just some songs that just whisks you away from reality...this is one. It somehow leaves you behind when it ends. Beautiful.
One of the most perfect comments that I’ve ever seen ❤ put the way I feel each time I hear it. Thank you!
Henry Mancini is my top fvourite composers in English movies.
And 'Moon River' is my top favourite of his compositions!
This was one of my mom and dad's favorite song. When I hear it I just want to cry
because I miss them so much.
They are still dancing to this song.
Just on the other side
Blessings and Love ❤🎉

Sooo absolutely beautiful and unbelievably haunting- why does this want to make me cry? Because this number belongs to an age long gone ❤️

Most definitely!!@@maryalicehornsby6636
Tempos maravilhosos que não voltam mais. Época onde tínhamos músicas de qualidade.
I get misty too.
Beautiful. Evergreen. Amazing.
Timeless.
Wonderful, for ever !❤ Henry Mancini
明るさと哀しみの絶妙なバランス。
Probably Mancjnj's most well-known composition.
My favourite composition! I love Macini!! Here, Brazil
Ohhhh I love this song! Moon River is great for frazzled nerves.
Music is the most influential thing. Lift you up, make you cry, softens the heart or hardens it.😊
It's a very nostalgic tune
In an ad for downloading a Bible this song was playing in the background so I looked it up to listen to it . great music from yester-year
It's such a beautiful track, thank you for the video adding context ❤❤❤
Moon River is another perennial fave the the world over. Back in 1961 it was on the top 10 of the Hit Parade and sung by Danny Williams. Later versions by Connie Francis, Andy Williams and Matt Munro were all greatly appreciated. This hit from Breakfast at Tiffanys will never die; even Audrey Hepburn's cute version in the film was very sweet.
This quiet, contemplative piece was Top 10 in 1961. Tells you everything that you need to know about the coarsening of culture in North America in the intervening 60 or so years.
Maybe the greatest melody ever❤❤❤❤❤❤
One day I’m going to dance with my love with this lovely song .. 🌙 moon river💋🫂
I might have to steal that idea.
Ohhh please tell me if you do...lol
I have been In love with someone who doesn't want me, for years.
And when I hear this song I always picture him and I at our wedding dancing
And my heart just breaks
But I so wish that you can find that special someone to dance with to this Beautiful song
Blessings 🎉❤
@@hims12 j'espère que ça s'arrangera pour toi ❤️
Creo sinceramente que esta es una de las canciones más bonitas de todos los tiempos.
There is a lovely scene from an old "Sex and The CIty" episode where Mr. Big describes to Carrie how his parents played "Moon River" each time they prepared to go out on a date and as they did so, he watched them get ready. His memory seemed to transport him back to his childhood. I connected with that scene immediately.
I just watched this scene and came searching for the song...
I had already heard it, but by Frank Ocean. I love this song ❤
Romantic this is amazing and
peaceful❤
Lovely music! Will always be one of favorites
Beatiful Melody and great song. Always in my remember. Forever and ever!!!!❤😂🎉😮😅😊
Amazing how many great songs were written quickly. I remember reading how Mel Torme tinkered together "The Christmas Song" melody in 20 minutes.

Got the recognition it deserved and became immortal. 🙏🙏
Made me cry. I'm 79 now and boy, what a bunch of lovely memories!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
With “Moon River” playing in the background, I dove off a dock into the Moon River under the light of a full moon.
Hermosa película .... Con un gran soundtrack .. Gracias Henry Mancini ❤️🙌
Thanks.
I first heard Moon River in 2022 because it was part of the Blue Devil’s show that year and I still view that as one of the best versions of this piece and one of the best ballads in DCI history
My mom had an 8 track tape called Stardust Memories. This song was on it. 😊
MUITO LINDO!!! LINDO DEMAIS!!!!❤
Very, very few composers have ever written such extraordinary harmonies. How in the world did Mancini find those gorgeous, gently crunchy chords?
George Fields harmonica, gets me every time... Best song ever.
Linda demais!!!!

To appreciate Good Music.
Yes.

❤❤❤
Proud to say I do, it’s beautiful 💙💙
With all its popularity I am surprised that there was never a release of the Audrey Hepburn rendition. Granted she was not a dynamic singer, but she made this one work.
Lovely song... I was only 9 when I heard for the first time. Good times! 🥲
This is beautiful music for our army and marine Corp.
maravilhosa!!

This was such a beautiful dance for Len. I cried when Bruno cried. The dance ensemble reminded me of back in the day when MGM would have those musical ensembles❤️

A version of this song played in a Little Golden Book audiobook narrated by the late Charity Campbell in the 80's, but I can't remember which one.
Murakami mi ha portato qui, leggendo Dance Dance Dance, grazie Haruki
My grandmother took me and my friends on my 12th birthday to see this movie.
My mates and I didn't understand the movie but the big city was a big day for us. 😊
Decades later thousands of miles from home I was standing in front of the Tiffany window.
Donald Trump was next-door and his 'bad movie' was starting.
Chalk and cheese.
People were arguing in the streets.
Bayonetta mentioned😂🔥🔥🔥
Incredible. And BTW today is the 100-th anniversary of Mancini's death.
Mais alguém chegando por aqui depois de ouvir "A Coach"?
I know this song because of Gossip Girls ❤
I don’t know how to say this right but America used to be so magical, unique and exciting. And this is coming from someone who isn’t American. The American dream was real. Like what happened to the Frank Sinatras that used to come out of there? Where did all the culture go?
Mr.Big…🤍
I have this midi on Yamaha clavinova CVP gp
Teaching my son that this is the original
Not by a rap singer
Can somebody explain me what it means "My huckleberry friend"? I am Russian speaking exploring English. Is it a reference to Huckleberry Finn?
