O MY GOODNESS! I had a HUGE crush on him! My parents were taking us to visit family in Ojai, CA I believe it was 1969 or 1970! My Dad changed lanes & I noticed the car ahead of us was a Midnight Blue Rolls Royce! My teenage brain was swooning @ the possibility! I'd read that's the car Bobby Sherman has! Imagine my surprise when we passed the car, I look out the car window, straight into Bobby Sherman's Face! I was BEYOND Cloud 9 & could hardly wait to share my PHENOMENAL news w/my Friends @ school on Monday! Sigh... Thank you so much for this! However, you never even touched upon his building a replica of Disneyland's Main Street for his kids! An Amazing Man! Thank you Bobby for who you are!!! Blessings!!! 🥰😎🩷✌️🤘🙏
I am 73 and onethe way to the hospital, in labor for my first child his "Julie" song was playing. My husband said if it is a girl I want to name her Julie after this song. And so we did. Thank you for this video. I have often wondered how his life went and if he is still here with us. Great story!
Ken Osmond who played Eddie Haskell on Leave It To Beaver became a Los Angeles Police Officer and survived being shot 3 times during a foot pursuit. Sadly, he passed away in 2020 but the character he played as Eddie Haskell will always be an iconic part of television history.
I entered a contest in Tiger Beat Magazine in 1969 to travel to CA and meet him. I was going to marry him. He WAS, my teen idol. I still have his albums, one which is framed and hanging in my basement.
I entered the same contest! No surprise. I didn’t win. lol. He was my very first concert. Loved his music. Have his albums. Even downloaded my favorites to my iPhone. Have a great day!
Hey Mr. Sun! 🌞 It was in the summer of 1970 and I heard that song and loved it so much. Bought the 45 at a Woolworths and played it over and over on the automatic turntable. Now I’m in my 70s and when I hear that song, it takes on a whole new meaning. Guess that’s what aging and maturing does. ❤❤
I remember him being a guest on Shindig every Wednesday night. I was only 9 years old when he was singing on the show. However, my favorite song from him was Hey Little Woman😌
I remember, “Julie do you love ❤️ Me “ the year was the Summer of 1970 when I was in Junior High. I remember him on the TV 📺 Series, “Here Comes the Brides” he played the part of guy that would studder when he spoke. There was a series in the Fall of 1970 called, “The Bobby Sherman Show.” That series was short lived it only lasted 2 or 3 months. Within that short period of time since I was in the Junior High marching band. We had sold candies 🍭 to have a banquet at the end of the year during holiday season in December. A dance 💃 took place and they brought one of the local DJ’s from a well known radio station here in, Corpus Christi, Tx. When he played a Bobby Sherman record he mentioned due to the TV Series, The Bobby Sherman Show 300 letters were written to the radio station. People were expressing their thanks for the TV Series and they wanted Bobby to receive the letters. 4 months before Corpus Christi, Tx was recovering from the devastation of Hurricane 🌀 Celia. People were now moving forward not only were they dancing 💃 at the banquet but, others were writing ✍️ to Bobby Sherman. Perhaps 🤔 in a way through his music 🎼 and TV series it was Bobby Sherman that helped the citizens of Corpus Christi, Texas to move forward.
I was a huge fan of Bobby back in the day. Im 61 now. I guess I never realized or thought about him being 20nyears older than I am way back when I was crushing on him. Lol
Born in 51, I went to a dance in my early teens where Bobby was singing near the lake in Athol Springs south of Buffalo. I got to kiss him on the left cheek!
I Loved him in "Here Comes The Brides" ❤❤❤❤ "Get It Together" Spun off a Epsoide from "The Partridge Family" ! While I bought his Records and Saw him in Concert , I Loved his acting a lot More! ❤❤❤❤
I have some of his albums which include a few photos. My grade school friend and I would exchange letters as Jeremy and Bridget - Here Come the Brides characters
