Why do you think K-pop group names are getting so weird? 🤔 Do you think it’s all about SEO and standing out, or is there more to it? Let me know your thoughts! 💬👇
Nah man...names are not getting weirder because of SEO and globalization of kpop...kpop group names were wild since the beginning. There were never times with more simple names, there were just times with less groups... but when you have so many of them debuting like nowdays you will just notice weird names more + we have the internet to discuss it...
Le Sserafim is a good name though. It's easy to pronounce, has a meaning that relates to their concept, and actually makes sense. "Le Sserafim" is an anagram of "I'm fearless", and being fearless is the group's motto. It also references the "Seraphim" or Seraphs, celestial beings with six wings originating in Judaism. This fits because Le Sserafim initially debuted with six members. So really, I think that name is one of the best (recent) girlgroup names out there.
nope, first of all it's not I'm fearless in reverse, secondly it's still weird..the meanings and all that shit are just too much and they always were. there is no need for that at all, they (companies) are just making shit up lmao... (I'm talking about kpop group names in general now, not their name). Leserafim is a pretty name tho, at least to me, idk, sounds interesting.
@@me9981 it *is* the anagram of "I'm fearless" though, which is the group's motto. And I feel like most people prefer names with meanings behind them anyway. Isn't it nicer to have a name related and individual to the group than some random, unrelated one?
@@hugging_a_namujoon honestly..."deep" meanings of kpop group names are not for me and if I found out that one of my favorite metal bands has a deep meaning for their name it would be hilarious to me and I'd just want to forget it 😅
le sserafim makes a lot of sense though, its 'im fearless' scrambled which is part of their concept. it is also coming from 'seraphim' which means angel(?) correct me if im wrong, but it definitely matches their concept and group. idk if its just me but le sserafim sounds like a luxury brand to me
Just showing my age here. Japanese Anime has been doing this since the Seventies. They make up western sounding names that doesn't completely make sense. But feel like it does. Imagine if Western companies made up sounds that feels Asian, but doesn't 100 percent make sense. But feels cool. Lol.

It’ll make sense when you find the definition and what it means 🦶🫵
