Yeah, seriously, what are they thinking? USB-C is and should be the standard for any mobile devices and any computer accessories, period. There’s absolutely no valid excuse to do otherwise. That’s definitely a dealbreaker for me!

The issue I have with mini usb on my jam+ is the connection which isn’t secure and has come loose over the years of use. I will wait till they update the port.

i would agree with others that USB-C is the future, but USB itself doesn't strike me as being the end of the world. Dongles aren't that expensive. For something like an Apollo Duo, I get why you'd prefer USB-C/Thunderbolt 3, but for something like this, does it matter, aside from needing a dongle? Maybe I'm missing something.

I had the Jam+ and although it said works with windows because it did not have its propriatery ASIO driver it did not work with windows. Apogee suggests to use Asio4all freeware which does not work properly. If this Jamx is the same forget about it. If you work only with Apple product then yes it is a very good product.

Not plug and play for Windows 10, requires a driver download!

Yep, needs USB-C for ipad pro.
