Z Power it's been 4 years for me now. I hope I do the same that you did man. The worst part is I know exactly what true freedom is because my brother is stupid good at singing! Tortures me everyday when I hear that mixed voice, reaching high notes with a full sound. But I guess you're right, I won't know true TRUE freedom until I can do it myself. Enjoy it my man, I hope I get it soon.

Hello Sir Justin! I just want to say a big THANK YOU! i just found my mixed voice today, after tonnes of research on it, and hours of watching other vocal coaches teaching about this topic, this video is simply what I needed. When other vocal teachers, example a mixed voice, it always sounds like a head voice. Due to this misconception I kept pulling my chest voice to reach higher notes. I just wanna thank you so much Justin because you explained that there is an infinite amount of mixes, and either head voice or chest voice is more dominant. Thank you again sir, I will mention you when I become famous.

I discovered these lessons only a few days ago sometime after having a few invaluable lessons with a qualified professional vocal coach (very expensive) and I have to say that Justin is spot on with his lessons. There are techniques and explanations that I had been taught before and there are new ones in there for me too. They are really building on what I already had. Before any lesson I thought that I could only sing up to the break in my register where I thought I could only do falsetto above that (I struggled, strained even before my vocal break and was envious of so many singers), how wrong was I! The mix is legend and this exercise alone easily works your vocal range way up there easily. I vouch for Justin, really big thank you!

Perfect. You described the exact sensation of "having no throat" that the great opera singers talk about. Freedom all the way from the chords to the nasal pharynx with no encumbrences. Like pinching a balloon on both ends with free air in between. This air in the head with compression is often described as inhaling or drinking the voice.

I've had such a hard time finding my mix and I really enjoyed how you explained more of the technical aspects instead of just describing it. Great work!

Omg Justin!!! Thank you so much!!!
After Tamplin and Manning i couldn't understood what is the MIX voice. They are talking so much and at the end, it is still confusing to understand...
But you've showed that geniosly simple exercise where we can see and hear where the mix is. Thx one's againg, that was really my pain in the ass (=
I've always tried to sing Bruno Mars - versace on the floor song raising my chest superhard or singing in falsetto but now i finally got how Bruno tricks the audience (=

I've been confused up until now about registers. I wasn't sure that I was doing them but now I understand that it's just compression levels that separate them. So I've been doing them the whole time. That's what all those different voices are, just different mixes. Execution is different though. I understand it but I can't get clear notes with too much compression.
