The spell isn’t on the town, Wanda wouldn’t do that to the people, the spell is on Agatha. She’s been trapped in fantasies this entire time and the towns people have been checking in on her because they know Wanda left her trapped in a spell, she’s been incorporating the towns people into the glamor, but they aren’t really there, she’s probably never really leaves her house, it’s why they’ve been bringing her food.

      1. Wanda did do that to the people though originally lol 2. They never said the entrapment spell was on the town, they just thought that Agatha put a spell on the town like Wanda did 3. She did leave her house. She was in her fake car then went over to Herb’s yard to act out the detective thing, which is why the images were of the flowers in Herb’s yard, that was her remembering where she really was when she saw “the body”.

Had to pause this and rewatch the first episode because it's hilarious to think about what must have gone on in the real world while Agatha was playing detective:
John Collins wakes up and sees that Crazy Agnes is back doing her thing on her front lawn after a period of concerning seclusion. "Hey neighbor!" he greets her from across his yellow-flowered fence. She walks up to him muttering incoherently about being in trouble for something and hands him a dirty mug from her kitchen. She seems to see him as a friend today and he decides it's best to encourage her to socialize, so he walks her around his property trying to make small-talk. Her responses don't seem to have anything to do with what he's saying, but that's not out of the ordinary. What is is that her demeanor is a lot more serious and melancholy than her usual fun "sitcom character" before her isolation, which worries him. They get to his back yard and the next thing he knows she's found a dead squirrel. He tried to stop her from touching it, but she inevitable starts poking at it and rambling about disturbing things before she starts to cry. "Are you ok, Agnes? You're not yourself lately." She gets agitated and goes back to her house to sit at her "driving table" for a while.
A little while later she barges through the front door of the Proctors' house where Sarah is having friends over and shoves her way past them to talk to Sarah. Sarah, disgusted by her antics, makes a sarcastic comment about people giving her free groceries and Agnes waves a dirty piece of paper at her rambling about library books. Sarah tries to tell her to piss off, but Agnes starts bellowing at the crowd and making a scene, so Sarah takes the paper and points her in the direction of the back yard. "Denis" walks by and sees Agnes staring at a fence and muttering to herself, says nothing, and continues walking.
Agnes then strolls into the Proctor's kitchen, and tells Harold he's dripped his breakfast on his shirt before making herself a coffee and sitting down in their living room. He tries desperately to reason with her and tell her for the millionth time she can't just walk in like this, but she just keeps playing make-belief until Harold is rescued by a strange woman (probably claiming to be a social worker) and goes to work, but Agnes soon chases her off.
She then wanders down the sidewalk encountering Abilash Tandon who she harasses for a minute about a piece of jewelry, before going back to the Proctors' living-room to build a nest of paperwork on their couch for several hours until Harold comes in and tells her again to "go home" and turns out the lights because he's going to bed.
She goes home for the night and the "social worker" knocks on the door for a therapy session/interrogation, but they're interrupted by a teen breaking in, who she then rants at in her living room, gets creeped out by, and locks in her closet. She sits at her car-table for a while then goes back to the living room where the social worker talks her into stripping naked and she falls asleep on the floor.

"If t he Scarlet Witch did die in Doctor Strange, in that movie, was that spell broken?"
Just because the caster dies doesn't mean the spell will be broken. This rule doesn't necessarily apply to all types of magic or practitioners.
In Avengers: Infinity War, Doctor Strange implied this by saying to Ebony Maw: "You'll find a dead man's spell quite troublesome." This generally, and probably, means that spells of the same intention (function) may vary depending on what conditions must be met to activate them and how they are dispelled. Case in point, Wanda and Stephen both have a spell to imprison someone. But these spells are probably individually different in the conditions that trigger the mechanism of the locks, and the keys used to open them.
What Wanda did to the people of Westview and to Agatha goes beyond the idea of of forcefully giving them new personalities and suppressed the true ones. This can be explained more by using analogy.
    1. When Wanda controlled the minds of the people in Westview, it is akin to attaching strings to them to make them act like her puppets. But what is impressive about this ability of her is she can do this without needing to constantly give her attention or focus to it - magic on autopilot (as per Agatha's words). But it is not without connection, which were severed by Agatha in episode 9 of WV.
Agatha: She's your meat puppet. I just cut her strings.
    2. However, what she did to Agatha in the last episode of WV is akin to putting her inside a cage. Even if the connection between the caster and the spell disappeared, the effect of the latter did not. Hence, why she's still stuck in that cage. But the spell had become distorted after she 'died'. That is perhaps the reason why Agatha was seeing numerous clues and hidden messages such as her brooch, Wanda's corpse, the library check-out card, etc. They are probably like holes in the cage that grant her a peek to the real world outside her imprisoned mind.
But it is really impressive how Teen was able to break the spell of the Scarlet Witch while fully knowing the current limitations of what he can do. One possible reason is that her spell isn't really complex and could be penetrated if attempted to be broken from the outside. Although, this is just a theory. I'll just leave it to the discretion of everyone else whether to believe me or not.

Magic works differently depending on the type of characters. For characters who have a shorter life span (Humans), they will typically cast spells that last beyond their life. Doctor Strange showed that in Infinity War when he told Ebony Maw "You'll find... removing a dead man's spell... Troublesome." While characters with much longer lifespans (Asgardians) will tie their spell to themselves. Odin showed this when he died at the beginning of Ragnarök when his enchantments that kept Hela locked up and made Mjolnir be indestructible.

From Avengers Infinity War, Dr. Strange said to Ebony Maw in NY when they tried to get his Time Stone from the Eye of Agamotto, "You'll find it very hard to break the spell of a dead sorcerer" (or something along those lines), so I don't know even if Wanda was dead (which I'm 100% she's not) if her spells were broken. I'm thinking that Aubrey Plaza's character may have the power to break such spells? (which would mean she is an OP powerful witch?) 🤔 They guy at the library that told Agatha everything burned down from behind the bookshelf is the "mailman" from WandaVision. I think they got every side character back for this series.

Shoutout to Hector for still knowing the timeline LOL I used to be really good at tracking the movies and shows but I can’t anymore I have no clue where they are or what’s the most recent project unless Hector says something and also facts what Hector says about both of them being able to get it 😂😂😂

I was totally lost in that first episode u til she broke out. Glad I didn’t watch the trailer or that effect wouldn’t have worked as well. I pretty much don’t watch trailers anymore because they seem to spoil too much.

I'm still trying to work out if the continuity error with the body is an actual continuity error, an error in the show (within the show), or a glitch in the spell... 🤔

This is the reason i never listen to he majorities opinion and form my own opinion after watching a show. Before i watched this everyone was saying it was bad, watched it and its one of my favorite marvel shows.

Since I’m an old man of 57 years of age I remember when Catherine Hahn used to be on Saturday Night Live as one of the not ready for primetime players. And she was fantastic on that show so to see so many actors/comedians come out from there and prosper and blossom is fantastic and she is definitely one of the jewels.

Googling it, it seems like people confuse Hahn with Ana Gasteyer cuz they look quite a bit alike.

I liked it. The over exaggerated hating of everything now actually just lowers my expectations so that I come out not minding it as much.
But Disney has to stop with the 25% running time being credits. No wonder they are costing so much to make these things. Really, really shouldn’t…
