Her young self was taken over by future Lilia. Her "mother" sensed that, that why she mentioned that she was visiting. So this means trhat when she told Jen that when she was a kid she saw her life out of sequence, this was it. Her future is her past and her past her future.
I'm calling it. Rio/Death is how our Wanda/Scarlet Witch returns. Death only takes those whose time has come. Wanda took herself out in Multiverse of Madness and it was not her time to go. She is still needed.
You think so? In Ep1 Rio did not seem to care at all about the Scarlet Witch being dead, if anything I think she'd be more mad about Billy cheating death than someone going earlier.
I was thinking that if Wanda IS dead, Death could bring her back, so you may be right…. And while Rio could appear to not care about the Scarlet Witch, I think it might be all an act..
When Agatha sees the body and asks "is she's really gone?", Rio says that that (Wanda) shouldn't be important to Agatha. And that she should focus on finding herself. So she never confirmed that Wanda is alive anyway. She only cared about Agatha waking up from the spell
I think Lilia just finally realizes that her death isn't really the end for her, ironically because of the same reason she was so traumatized her whole life, 'the flow of time is an illusion'. She's experiencing all of this now like a closed loop with no end or beginning which is why we get that scene at the end. I loved this freaking episode!
Somebody may have already responded, but I didn’t know about magic with a K either so I looked it up. It actually is a thing that distinguishes ‘real’ magick from stage magic.
This one made me cry. She is really a good witch. And now that she starts again, maybe she can save her coven with all that she knows now. This episode deserves all the Emmys! ❤️😭
The song during the credits is "Time in a Bottle", The same song used during the Quicksilver scene in Days of Future past. The actor for Quicksilver, Evan Peters, was just in the previous episode last week.
5:00 -- Magic vs Magik/Magick. The former is more often used for representing conventional stage illusions/tricks whereas the latter refers to actual metaphysical/supernatural workings. 20:20 No, she's not starting her life over -- this is simply the moment when she came up to the table for her first lesson. (If we continued with that moment, we'd see again what we saw earlier: her being confused/afraid, and everything else that played out at the table during that "lesson" -- the point is that her life/existence is experienced by her out-of-order at key times. In that moment, at the beginning of the lesson, is the end of her life in her conscious mind; in the relative future, she is dying on the "floor/roof" of the tower, impaled on the sword.)
It's always spelled magic. Doctor Strange uses magic for example. That's always been the term and spelling and I've never seen it with a K and that's just weird. Even in comics it's spelled magic for what characters use😂
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 I believe it's important for people who are actually into witchcraft and not just fiction, like comic book writers. Could be wrong tho.
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 We're referring to real-world usage (both in the post-modern era as well as archaic spellings from centuries ago) as-used in the subtitling. Magic vs Magik/Magick, however, isn't new at all, and is used by many real-life practitioners of of mystical beliefs as a delineation between stage magic vs "real" magick (spellcasting and the like). As the show is on the more post-modern side of the comicbook genre, they're apparently leaning into that usage. (It literally doesn't matter what you've read in various comics before relative to that -- I, for instance, have been reading Dr. Strange, in various comics, since the late 70s -- as in-narratively many characters, particularly but not limited to non-practitioners, *will* use the spelling "magic" as a matter of course in general conversation... but that, again, doesn't change the validity of the alternate spelling used in this live action series. It's actually a nice touch/acknowledgement and shows that the writers/subtitles did their homework.)
The way this episode showed that all of Lilia’s little outbursts throughout the show actually had meaning is a masterclass is screenwriting. Easily the best episodes of the show so far!
Man, Patti LuPone OWNED this episode! 26:50 I sure hope so. One of the main reasons why i was so excited when they announced this show is because i think that this whole darker, mystical, supernatural side of the MCU is still so underdeveloped and there's so many possibilities beyond the occassional Dr. Strange-movie. By now we have SO many possible ways into seeing more of this part of that world... Moon-Knight, Man-Thing and Werewolf-by-Night, the Bloodstone-family, Wiccan, a dead-or-maybe-not-Scarlet Witch, the Coven and Agatha Harkness, mentions of her son Nicholas, even the incarnation of Death now... they need to do more with this. And maybe if they're gonna insist on keeping to fail at making a Blade movie, maybe they should just bring us the Midnight Sons and have him be the frontrunner in that.
This is now officially the second highest rated episode in Marvel. The first one is the Loki ending. I hope this sticks the landing next week and give the keys to Jac Schaeffer for next Scarlet Witch projects.
1:57 - “the penultimate episode” Ooh! Ooh! I get to be a nerd about this. Like, I get what you mean, and I’m not trying to bring any heat. But… since there are two more episodes to go, this is technically the antepenultimate episode. (There aren’t a lot of opportunities to whip that one out, so I have to do it where I can.)
I think they know that. The point they were making was the final two come out the same day, so they kind of count that as one episode. 🙂 Penultimate is such a great word though.
I think she will be resurrected by Rio because she tells Agatha to hit the deck, how would she know what's next when she dies in the tower? So she must have a life after her death where she knows what happens in the next trial to the point of advising Agatha
I think Lilia had a conversation with Rio when she realized was death, and now knows her intentions to challenge Agatha. I would love if Lilia comes back and Alice as well, but idk
Wiccans and modem day witches began adding the "k" again in the 60's. This was attributed to Gerald Gardner who is known as the Father of Wicca. The "k" indicates the practice of modern witches and Wiccans; whereas no "k"denotes the practice of stage magicians with a rabbit and hat.

I hear "what is up homies" and I hit the like button.
I hear "wha-" and I hit it
Her young self was taken over by future Lilia.
20:44 this. I love to laugh as much as the next guy but the MCU is fantastic when it’s not killing you with humor.
Somebody may have already responded, but I didn’t know about magic with a K either so I looked it up. It actually is a thing that distinguishes ‘real’ magick from stage magic.
This episode was a masterpiece!
I have sit on Hector, "Thanos in love with Death!!" 😂😂
This one made me cry.
She is really a good witch. And now that she starts again, maybe she can save her coven with all that she knows now. This episode deserves all the Emmys! ❤️😭
Patti Lupone is a National Treasure
For Agatha, the new rockstars breakdowns aren’t coming until Fridays 😘
So just time jump to Friday, then come back and tell us what they said 😁
The song during the credits is "Time in a Bottle", The same song used during the Quicksilver scene in Days of Future past. The actor for Quicksilver, Evan Peters, was just in the previous episode last week.
Magick is spelt the same way in Star Wars with the Nightsisters etc! More of a witchy term than general street magic from a magician, for example!
Agatha All Along
Deadpool and Wolverine
X-Men '97
Loki Season 2
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Not sure if anybody noticed but the MCU is BACK! 🤯🤯
This is the perfect episode.
And it's beautiful! ❤
This episode elevates the series. Now this one is for sure a rewatch.
Best episode so far!!!! 😭✨
her coven leader asked whether shes visiting in the beginning of the show and she said yes cause shes not dead yet.
Welcome back Hector!!! This Episode was phenomenal ❤🎉
we really miss some marvel series being this good
This is now officially the second highest rated episode in Marvel. The first one is the Loki ending. I hope this sticks the landing next week and give the keys to Jac Schaeffer for next Scarlet Witch projects.
I wanr patti to come back on future shows/movies as wiccan's spiritual guide. Love to see patti and joe together again! 🤞🤞🙏❤
I suspect they would as well
Best Marvel show episode since Loki season 2.
This is such a good one. I enjoyed Lilia and how her story ended, it felt satisfying. Also welcome back Hector
Absolutely love that music cue to the credits, too. Damn! 💕
I was falling
… “for 30 minutes” 😂
1:57 - “the penultimate episode”
Ooh!
They meant the penultimate episode of their youtube series, not of the show
I think she will be resurrected by Rio because she tells Agatha to hit the deck, how would she know what's next when she dies in the tower? So she must have a life after her death where she knows what happens in the next trial to the point of advising Agatha
I think Lilia had a conversation with Rio when she realized was death, and now knows her intentions to challenge Agatha. I would love if Lilia comes back and Alice as well, but idk
Her special talent is seeing the future. Seers almost always make predictions beyond their lifetime.
This is without a doubt my favourite episode of everything Marvel TV so far
RIP LILIA!! What a great character!
PATTI NEEDS TO WIN THE EMMY!
I totally agree with Adam about characters coming back.... with a really good reason! Love you guys!
Great episode. Love a timey wimey episode.
Enjoyed your reaction as usual.
Yeah, this is going in my rotation yearly for Halloween.
The haters looking really silly after this episode. This show has been so excellent. Jac and the writing team understood the assignment as usual!
Patti Lupone is a master class of acting and stage!!!!
I love this show. It has a lot of great twists and mind trickery.
This is one of the best tv episode of any shows so far
Tommy.. that's why Lilia give Billy his book
Possibly the best Marvel TV show episode, or at the very least Top 3.
8th & 9th episode release at the same time??!!! LETS GO!!!! This show is sooo good, I cant wait! Comic book fans are eating good with Penguin and Agatha All Along!!!
That was such an emotional ending.
