Hey Nick, recently lowered my mk3.5 focus on Raceland Coilovers and I have front mud flaps like how you did when you were installing your Raceland coilovers. The issue is they scrape A LOT when going over bumps or speed ramps. Do the mud flaps wear down after awhile or should I take them off?
Not the creator but personally have a mk3 fost that I bought with mudflaps that were rubbing and scraping just on the stock suspension because the previous owner of my car had installed them fairly close to the ground and they ended up all getting very worn down one of them started pulling off too so I’m taking mine all off and running no mudflaps so yes, they will get damaged
mine sit exactly even with the ground and i don’t have any wear really the corners slightly rounded but as king as there’s nothing for it to really catch on your fine but if you live with alot of bumps and such id remove
Did you ever have any problems with these rails eventually rusting? Another company makes aluminum ones that avoid that issue.
You could also jack it from the LCAs.
