Don’t be so quick to hate guys still use this equipment in the field especially in the mountains of Afghanistan and Iraq the Himalayas still are areas of conflict and personnel aren’t going to be issued white camouflage for these conditions. It doesn’t make sense from an economical standpoint. Outdoor Research has great gear and they treat military personnel extremely well. Thanks OR!
@@MarcP5267 Generally militaries contracts go to the lowest bidders, though. For work gear, i'd go milsurp, for sure, though. Just because i'd be paranoid about ripping up the expensive OR stuff :P (Even with their warranty)
So let me get this straight.... the dude rappelling has a canister of bear spray on him... during the winter... when all of the bears are hibernating. What does he think he's going to use that for? And if it's for winter use, then why not make it out of Multicam Alpine instead, or atleast build some overwhites in Alpine? Cool production values, but this video was fluff for 3 minutes.
Well, bears can wake up during the winter two if you somehow disturbe their sleep. And a newly waken bear can be really pissed. Even more if it has cubs with it.
Like there glove's but we all have our pref brands for a go to. My is not or because sizing and material choice, i still find sticking with merino wool the best for moister wicking and staying warm. Adverse condition apply so cover up with a poncho. And that one is white on the outside and bright yellow on the inside. For e vac. Take care and by save and stop bithching about the brands and there ad's
