Very great video tutorial. I'll have to try this ganach. I know I don't like very sweet desserts....My mom always made stuff with heavy whipping cream instead of butter cream.
That makes me so happy to hear you think 🤍 thank you so much. I think you’ll love this one then as it’s not too sweet 😍 I also don’t like when pastries are too sweet 🙏🏼
Hey! This is an amazing recipe. I wanted to fill three layers of a medium sized cake, (18cm pan) and have enough ganache to coat it too, maybe it would be better to double the recipe right?
I’m happy to hear you like it 🤍 different ratios will apply for milk and dark chocolate, as the cacao is higher. For example for milk chocolate: 0.5 gelatin sheet, 60 g milk chocolate and 150 ml heavy from. I will see if I can post a recipe of these too at some point ☺️
I would say 12-26 depending on how big they are ☺️ yes you can add coloring paste but not in very big amounts, as this can make the cream split because there’s chocolate in it ☺️
I haven’t experimented with a vegan version so I cannot share my experience with that unfortunately. Agar agar would give a different texture so I would probably try with vegan gelatine instead ☺️
I’m happy you like it 🤍 1 tsp gelatin powder equals 1-2 gelatine sheets, so you can use around 1 tsp for this recipe ☺️ Yes you can add fruit powder or substitute some of the heavy cream with fruit puree 💛
@@louiselindbergpastry thanks for your reply Louise, I don't want to substitute powder, but over here in Aust the sheets come in different strengths (gold silver etc) so we go by weight not by sheet so wondering how much your sheets are in gms please
Bonjour j'aime bien que tu me donne le grammage de gélatine j'ai que la gélatine en poudre combient le grammage de gèlatine est le grammage d'eau merci bon continuation

Hi, Thank You for the recipe.
I'm wondering, it it stable enough for covering 3 layers of cake..?
You mean as a coating or in between layers? ☺️
Hello. I have the same question to put in between layers. Is it stable?
Good day, I don't have gelatin sheets here, we only have gelatin powder. Can I know how many grams of gelatin powder and water to bloom the gelatin?
1 tsp gelatin powder equals 1-2 gelatine sheets, so you can use around 1 tsp for this recipe ☺️ the bloom value of the gelatin I use is 240
Your recipe is very good and I like it 🎉🎉🎉🎉
So happy to hear that 🩷 thank you very much 🥰
Great video. Can this white chocolate recipe be used to frost cakes?
Thank you very much 🩷 what do you mean with frost cakes? ☺️
thank you so much for this amazing recipe!! how many grams should i use if i want to substitute the white chocolate into milk or dark chocolate?

@@louiselindbergpastrythank you!! can't wait for the other recipes☺
In my country gelatine sheets are not easily available...what would be the weight in powder form.
1 tsp of gelatin powder approx equals = 1-2 sheets of gelatine (or that 1 teaspoon = 1-2 leaves), so you need around 1-1,5 tsp powder ☺️
Thanks for sharing, can the whipped ganache be used to cover cakes? Like for instance wedding cakes.
Yes, you can ☺️ I would however perhaps add more gelatin for an even firmer texture as the cream isn’t as hard as buttercream 🩷
Can you substitute powdered gelatine for the sheets, and how many grams should I use? Greetings from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Can I substitute dissolved granulated gelatin?
Yes you can ☺️🙏🏼
For example, how many muffins can be decorated with that amount of ganache? Can i add color in it? Thank you!
I would say 12-26 depending on how big they are ☺️ yes you can add coloring paste but not in very big amounts, as this can make the cream split because there’s chocolate in it ☺️
Is there any vegetarian option for gelatine? ( can we use agar agar instead) Thank you
I haven’t experimented with a vegan version so I cannot share my experience with that unfortunately. Agar agar would give a different texture so I would probably try with vegan gelatine instead ☺️
Thanks for great video. Is that 1.75gms of gelatine please Also could you flavour it with a freeze dryed fruit powder or a fruit puree?

The gelatin I use is bloom 240. 1 sheet = 1.75 g. I hope that helps :)
Looks Amazing!Can we skip Gelatine?
You can make it without yes, but it won’t have the same texture. I will be less firm so softer for piping for example :)
