Darkseid's Omega sanction. Like... being condemned to love a series of lives, each one ending worse and worse every time you die, moving onto the next one, for eternity. like, that's a big oof.
“The Omega Sanction, when inflicted on an individual, traps them in an endless succession of synthetic lives, each one more degrading and hopeless than the last.” From I remember, Mr. Miracle was hit by a car, tortured, castrated, and set ablaze for his FIRST death within Darkseid’s Omega Sanction. Speaking purely from memory, there is a Judge Dredd comic book where he is chasing some guy who cant die because the rocks in a cave keep him alive. Dredd cuts his head off, puts it on a rock and says words to the tune of "the sentence is life"...

You'd think. And DC is hardly devoid of other immortals. He can share a cell next to Vandal Savage. Maybe he'll have mellowed out by the time the prison is reduced to dust.

I know people would be hesitant to use 2 wishes, but if you’re gonna wish for immortality, you should also wish that you have an escape to die at anytime. Heck, if someone is smart about it, they should use all 3 wishes around immortality, one to live forever, one to become mortal again if they wish to, and the last one having to deal with eternal prosperity/happiness. Maybe the last one could be somehow worked into just asking for immortality by wishing for eternal happiness or something like that, but I feel as if it would be very easy to live forever and be happy with the concept of 3 genie wishes
