Yeah I noticed that too🤣 Going for the B-Boy look. Didn't want to make changes to the Expo and Gain just for FPV mode. You call it Fixed Wing and they call it FPV Mode. I'm just going by what it's called on the Air 2S.
@@ChadB Just busting your balls... DJI knows the word FPV Mode sells or works better for the wow factor I think instead of saying fixed wing. Some FPV boys don't like this and get a little pissy with the term FPV used in this way. It's a travesty! LOL
I know...we've had a debate on this topic. When I say debate, I mean a conservation via text🤣

Nice tutorial, thanks! But it looks like advanced gimbal settings have been removed (January 2024). Maybe they decided to fix the settings.

I inadvertently took off with my Air 2S in FPV mode and panicked. You really do good used to DJI's level Horizon. When you don't see it it's a real WTF moment. Post flight I regretted not having the guts to give it a proper go. Next flight!!

Man, keep up the good info on these drones, just purchase the Air 2s, really excited about getting this drone. I already have the mini 2 and a Holy Stone HS 600. I really like this drone, I want to use the hyperlaps and other features this drone has. Keep up the good videos brother, I really appreciate them!!

Good video , Chad. I think alot of people never paid attention to it. It has been on all the Mavic's, and spark. On the pro they use to call it fixed- wing mode. I started using it some on spark, and the mini.

Very cool, now I don't have to buy the DJI FPV drone. I have never tried this on recent DJI drones, but I did try to the fixed 'wing mode' on the Mavic Pro 1. Great video Chad, and thanks for sharing.
Hey Ron...thanks. It's pretty fun and can add a little something different to your cinematic videos. Once it becomes compatible with the goggles, it will become more immersive. I wonder if there's a way to connect it to a pair of VR goggles? Thanks for stopping through.
@@ChadB The Anafi had an FPV mode and the App had an option that allowed you to put your phone in VR goggles and fly FPV. The Litchi app allowed you to the same thing with older DJI drones.
Yeah...it a shame the fly app doesn't have the VR option. However, I think I found a pair of goggle that isn't the usual VR split screen and allows me to just use the regular app.
I thought obstacle avoidance gets automatically disabled in FPV mode
No...its disabled when in Sport mode.

24FPS just always looks jittery to me. Good information in the vid though!
Yeah. After looking at the footage of this video, I think I should have filmed in 30fps. The footage gets jittery in 24fps when panning too fast. Need more fps to keep up. Maybe could have done 4k/60fps then rendered out in 30fps. Thanks
