hi bro i am going us on a scholarship. they are admitting us to community college. every one is saying it is impossible that you will get visa. actually this scholarship is by ngo in pak. should i remain hopeful for i should give up as people say that we cannot get a visa for community college

Dear Abir, it is very useful vidoe as my son was going for MS CS.. I like to know about if we show our liquid fund as savings account and mutal fund, MF is accepted or Again if his grandmothar/aunty can sponsore him will it be approved. importantly any relative stays in USA can be a major drawback for visa acceptatnce for F1.
While evaluating finances, colleges prefer liquid funds - savings account, fixed deposits. Most colleges will not accept mutual funds.
As long as the VO thinks that there are good ties with home country, it should be fine.
We can book our visa slot and get our visa approved before 360 days ! Better you update your content. Dont just throw words. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

This rule was changed less than 2 months back.
On 21 February 2023, the US State Department announced an expansion of the time period during which international students may apply for an F or M-class visa to study in the United States. Up that point, students were able to apply only 120 days before their planned programme starts. Under the revised rule, the US will accept student visa applications up to 365 days in advance.

Abir, how much did you show for the visa interview? (1.25x or 1.5x)
I showed 1.1x for my I20. They generally don't ask proof of funds during the visa interview but I was carrying proof of 2X my I20 amount just in case.

Hi, as I've mentioned, my visa interview was around my degree and how I'm funding it.
My sponsor is a us citizen and mY uncle he is helping me coz my father is not present and mom's a house maker. I do know the outcome if i don't explain them what according to you should be my answer my question
You can have your uncle sponsor your tuition. There should not be any problem with that.

I'd recommend mentioning 2 years in the DS160. That's what I did.

Will they don't allow the folders which is not transparent? I have my visa interview on 19 and my folder is green colour and not transparent
They might allow - they will probably just check what's inside. It's recommended to carry transparent files but I guess even if you don't it should be fine. No bags will be allowed though.

160 USD for booking the VISA; 650 INR for premium delivery; 350 USD SEVIS FEE (I-901) if you're applying for F-1 VISA

Could you tell me your sponsor's annual income? Mine is kind of low (around 6 lpa). I wonder if that'll be a problem.
Hey I can't share that information.
However as long as you show 1.1 to 1.4 times of the I20 amount, your I20 will be issued and once you have the I20 the VO will almost always be assured that your finances are alright.
