We were in Brindisi Puglia for 2 weeks recently and loved the varieties of Tarralini. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. I will definitely be trying it out in the next days!!!
My father loved these, as kids we didn't like them as they didn't appeal to our young tastes, but i grew to like them so much that i would hear.. "Who ate all my pepper knots?" Thank you Alessandra for the non stop culinary memories! Now i am going to scroll through to see if you have a video for Croquant de Mandorle!! He would bring it home from the bakery, we loved them, decorated with a slight sprinkle of hundreds n' thousands !🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Hello Alessandra. Love your channel. Would these be cooked/baked the same as Friselle black pepper biscuits? I remember my mom buying (rock hard) black pepper biscuits at the Italian store. We'd put them in a bowl of soup etc. I've looked online for Friselle recipes but some look like bagels and some like biscotti logs. Are these all the same? Do you know why some cooks skip the boiling water process and only bake? I do not speak Italian and I love hearing you speak Italian. It makes it so authentic and closer to the culture. Have you considered doing a voice over, in Italian, of your English videos?
I made this recipe today and substituted Rosemary for the Fennel. They smelled amazing and taste wonderful! I will be making sweet ones next. This was so easy.
Love Taralli with the fennel. Thank you for all your videos. I really enjoy them all! As part of your Christmas celebration, do you make mostaccioli cookie ? My favorite!
Hi Karen, Thank you so much you just made my day!! Yes, I make mostaccioli cookies. Will be doing a visto recipe soon. Today we taped roccoco’ cookies. Thank you got watching. 🥰🎄💫
Hi, I would process the ingredients qnd them move them to a work surface. It’s not an easy dough because it tends to fall apart. Roll small log at a time. Hope this helps. Grazie be safe and let’s keep cooking together. 🥰🇮🇹

These recipes are very old and traditional. The people used what was in hand and made by them on the farms. You can add an apple juice/cider to avoid the alcohol. That’s usually a good substitute. Thank you so much fir watching. Let me know how they turn out. Grazie 💚🤍♥️

I am not a huge fan of fennel seeds. Can I substitute rosemary instead?

Absolutely! They’re also delicious plain. Thank you so much for watching.
Let it rest? How long? Mins?
about 30 minutes works. Thank you for watching.
I am making this recipe today. I noticed in the recipe you put in the description it does not say when to add the wine!
So sorry Janet. First the oil then the wine.
Amazing! Can you do a Cassata cake?

Can we also use balsamic vinegar?? Or just apple juice can be suitable
@@mohgoda9992 apple juice would be the better choice. Balsamic might be too strong. Maybe try 1/2 and 1/2.

Depending on the oven 375 30 to 40 just watch them light golden not dark wont taste as good.
