Well, I'm 63 and I just got my learners licence to get back on a motorcycle, yes, I rode in the 70's but we didn't bother with no stinking licence back then, ha ha. Anyway, 37 years later I just bought a bike again, so now that I have lost my beloved wife to cancer six years ago and retired, it's time to start living again. My hair is over a foot long, so this is a necesity, and yes at first I did tie it the old fasiond way too, thanks for the lesson!

Class of '85 here lol, I remember wearing the the easy way like you showed at the beginning, I also remember being thin enough to use one as a belt 😂 I like this method when I am riding, can wear it under my helmet when I wear one and it stays on. Thanks for a great tutorial!

Interesting new way :)
I do the triangle and fold about 3 fingers broad and tie to the back. Then I just need to tug on the peak of the triangle to get it tight. Works perfectly, I run ultras with that.
Another is to do the triangle, pull the peak back above your head, tie the two sides really tight, pull back the peak and tie the sides again over the peak. This works best with large bandanas, and it was the traditional way of wearing headscarves in Southern Europe from the XVIII to the XIX century (hell, in some parts they had special ways to tie the scarves for funerals, LOL)

I've found that if the tail is ridiculously long, you can tie it to one of the other ties in the back and it looks good too.

First off, there’s nothing wrong with being a boomer. I’m 51, ride a Harley, and proud to call myself a boomer. Now the sad thing is I’ve been tying my bandanna like the old-school way from the 80s. Wondered why all this time I had these gay looking wings and for the life of me it was just unavoidable! Now I have mastered the true art of bandannaism from master boomer. Nothing wrong with being a boomer, as long as you're not one of the boomers that's always bitching about "this new generation" and blah blah blah. Other than that there's nothing inherently wrong with being a boomer.
Also the wings can look good if done right and intentionally. Usually you just have to wear them low to your neck and not on top of your head.

Ok, I have seen that before, but never tried it. I will give that a try. I guess not knowing this, is why I always bought those doo Rags from the Harley shop or elsewhere and just used them under my helment.
The doo rags are definitely easier under the helmet.

Since I grew up in a "helmet law state" and had a crash(wearing a full-face bucket) where the last thing I remember is seeing the road coming at my face...Even though I'm in CT with no helmet law, I still always wear a helmet when I ride, so no bandana needed. But I might try this when I'm doing things outside. 👍
