I LOVED this route.
BTW, leaving Leon you could have followed the trail next to the river instead of on the road. It's the same distance, but more nature-y.
You mentioned Montreal to Madrid, are you Canadian too? Nice!

I stayed in the exact same place in La Robla!
Did you see any white vans in the small towns? They drive around honking their horns. They're bread trucks, you can flag them down and buy bread and pastries.

I might have seen one but since I had no idea what it was, didn't flag one, unfortunately. The proof I never plan and prepare in advance lol and I am obviously missing out on things
