Seemed Harley Quinn heavy to me. Definitely gonna see Harley's origin. But heck I'm not complaining. Who ever thought we would see Harley Quinn in a movie. I disagree with Grace, I liked the voice in my head joke ; thought that was classic Harley. This was a great trailer came off fun; great shots of most of the characters. Deadshot looks badass, Enchantress looks spooky, Diablo is bringing the heat and Joker seems more like the comic version. 2 thumbs up.

I honestly don't see how anyone could dislike Margot Robbie already? Personally I think she'll crush it! People just try to find faults with everything and every film now.

Affleck gets a bad rap for DareDevil when he was probably the strongest part of the film, he didn't do the writing/directing/special effects/music. He just acted his part, and did a decent job, it's the rest of the movie that sucked. Jai Courtney is no different, he just gets sucky bland characters all the time... most actors wouldn't do much better in the same situation given the same dialogue and direction. I think he's gonna shine as Boomerang, IF the writing and directing is there too that is.
+Lew Archer 1949 I think part of the problem is that most of his roles he's had to do american accents. His best performance is in the water diviner where he spoke normally. In this film he has doesn't have to hide his australian accent so I think this will be one of his better performances as well
I thought Harley's parts were meh, but I think Margot Robbie looks like she's doing a decent job. Agreed that the voices joke didn't land, but I did like robbing the handbag. And for me, Joker stole the trailer easily. Jai Courtney and Viola Davis were close behind.
Enchantress left the biggest impression for me mainly because of the shots they chose. As a fan of the Arkham videogames, I think Harley Quinn looks perfect here. Couldn't be better. Grace, however, clearly has some latent hostility towards this version of the character; I could see it on her face every time Quinn appeared. Grace seems to dislike a Harley who dresses so sexily and who says ditsy things because that doesn't match up with her own favourite version of the character from back in the day.
Disagree 100% with the Harley Quin doubters. She looked amazing. Her jokes were funny. Voice was perfect. Mannerisms were on point. My favourite part of the trailer.
Dionizos666 I respect that you like the trailer and the interpretation she's going for, but I wouldn't say I'm in a minority. What we've seen has people very split as far as she's concerned, not really a majority either way. To be honest, I think the main problem is that she was trying to fit in with SS tone too much and wasn't showy enough. Harley is a very vibrant, OTT, bonkers character, and Margot's performance just seems subdued so far. Still, happy to be proved wrong, glad you enjoyed it, and hope the film lives up to their ad campaign thus far.

Totally agree about Captain Boomerang. This might be the movie that redeems Jai Courtney, as he stole the trailer for me as well. Kind of agree about Harley, although I laughed out loud during the "voices in my head" part. I wish she tried to do the Brooklyn accent she did in The Wolf of Wall Street though, as this one just seems a little off. Like you said, for me she's about 50% Harley Quinn.

However, I am only familiar with the character from the Rocksteady video games. I don't know the character's entire history like you do so maybe that's a factor. But anyways, great vid!
To be honest I thought the teaser trailer was better. This trailer was a little too goofy, many of the jokes didn't land and the music didn't suit the trailer. Like Star Trek Beyond when you use a really popular tune in a trailer it can take away from trailer because you are used to hearing it somewhere else.

+Joe Blow Gal Gadot is 5'10(so easily 6' in any form of shoe) and served in the Israel Defense Forces, which means theres a good chance she knows Krav Maga and she received sword fighting, kick-boxing, capoeira and jiu-jitsu training in preparation for the role. And also, in the actual depictions of Amazonian warriors(not the ones made up by people on the internet and media after 1 actress player her) they were only about 5'6 to 5'8. They werent giants. They werent double D's(they actually usually cut one off to help their archery) and they werent all "curvy". They were as athletic as the men. So dont base your opinion off of 1 single made up depiction. Also, thats purely your opinion of MOS. The movie made over $600 million. Thats better than about 7 of the first Marvel movies that everyone considers "so good". I thought it was a good origin story and gave a more humanistic depiction of Superman, showing where his values and morals came from instead of just "BOOM super strength and magically the worlds best boy scout". Eisenberg is a good actor and you cant judge his performance based off of 10 seconds of footage. And you havent seen the movie so you dont know how they are going to use Doomsday. He might be a third act character, but that doesnt mean they are necessarily going to just throw him away by the end like Marvel does with literally EVERY SINGLE MAJOR VILLAIN.

So how can you call someone a d-level actress when youve pretty much never seen her in any actual role before? Everything you said about MoS is purely opinionated. If you turn a rational, logically thinking mind on, that much destruction from a godlike superhuman in his first ever fight with someone of equal strength, makes a hell of a lot of sense. If you turn off the fanboy, sheep mind of "Oh its superman though! He's perfect and never makes any mistakes and always magically saves everyone without any collateral, even when he's not really superman yet and never fought before!" , MoS is actually smartly written. Especially for the grounded setting they are creating for this cinematic universe. A know it all, sarcastic, asshole with a tendency to talk down to others because he thinks he's better than everyone.....how is this a bad thing for Lex Luthor?!?!?! He's played other roles before other than that, but he has played that role very well. So i dont get what your gripe is with that. Regardless of opinions on Snyder, you are forgetting that David Goyer is also the writer for BvS. He also wrote the Nolan trilogy. By no means bad movies by a no where near bad writer.

He's always the Squadster that does the least, until the real hard fighting starts, and decides who the weak link is to get them killed to save himself. Every time I see Captain Boomerang in the trailers I chuckle like an idiot. It always reminds me of the time he knocked you know whom in the head, into the you know what, thinking he was "saving the day", and when he regroups with the Squad expecting everyone to praise him, instead everyone just turns to stare at him like "dude, wtf did you just do...". lol
How I think the time line of this movie goes (In flashback joker turns harley) 1.Recruitment of the squad members already in prison 2. Do missions 3. Mission involving joker goes bad or joker interferes with a mission and harley goes into the acid bath and gets the blue and pink hair. Joker jumps in and saves her, winning her over completely. 4. Recruit the rest of the members of the squad(katana,slipknot)/Enchantress goes Rouge 5. Everything else we see in the trailer

As a fan of the Arkham videogames, I think Harley Quinn looks perfect here. Couldn't be better.
Grace, however, clearly has some latent hostility towards this version of the character; I could see it on her face every time Quinn appeared. Grace seems to dislike a Harley who dresses so sexily and who says ditsy things because that doesn't match up with her own favourite version of the character from back in the day.

Dionizos666 I respect that you like the trailer and the interpretation she's going for, but I wouldn't say I'm in a minority. What we've seen has people very split as far as she's concerned, not really a majority either way. To be honest, I think the main problem is that she was trying to fit in with SS tone too much and wasn't showy enough. Harley is a very vibrant, OTT, bonkers character, and Margot's performance just seems subdued so far. Still, happy to be proved wrong, glad you enjoyed it, and hope the film lives up to their ad campaign thus far.

This movie really feels like its trying to be DC's answer to Guardians of the Galaxy, right down to the quirky usage of a classic rock song in the trailer.

Totally agree about Captain Boomerang. This might be the movie that redeems Jai Courtney, as he stole the trailer for me as well. Kind of agree about Harley, although I laughed out loud during the "voices in my head" part. I wish she tried to do the Brooklyn accent she did in The Wolf of Wall Street though, as this one just seems a little off. Like you said, for me she's about 50% Harley Quinn.
That bit with Captain Boomerang and popping a can open was pretty awesome. I agree with you, Grace: he definitely caught my eye in this trailer.

To be honest I thought the teaser trailer was better. This trailer was a little too goofy, many of the jokes didn't land and the music didn't suit the trailer. Like Star Trek Beyond when you use a really popular tune in a trailer it can take away from trailer because you are used to hearing it somewhere else.

Since Gal Gadot is shooting Wonder Woman right now, it's safe to say they like what they have.
+Joe Blow Gal Gadot is 5'10(so easily 6' in any form of shoe) and served in the Israel Defense Forces, which means theres a good chance she knows Krav Maga and she received sword fighting, kick-boxing, capoeira and jiu-jitsu training in preparation for the role. And also, in the actual depictions of Amazonian warriors(not the ones made up by people on the internet and media after 1 actress player her) they were only about 5'6 to 5'8. They werent giants. They werent double D's(they actually usually cut one off to help their archery) and they werent all "curvy". They were as athletic as the men. So dont base your opinion off of 1 single made up depiction.
Also, thats purely your opinion of MOS. The movie made over $600 million. Thats better than about 7 of the first Marvel movies that everyone considers "so good". I thought it was a good origin story and gave a more humanistic depiction of Superman, showing where his values and morals came from instead of just "BOOM super strength and magically the worlds best boy scout".
Eisenberg is a good actor and you cant judge his performance based off of 10 seconds of footage.
And you havent seen the movie so you dont know how they are going to use Doomsday. He might be a third act character, but that doesnt mean they are necessarily going to just throw him away by the end like Marvel does with literally EVERY SINGLE MAJOR VILLAIN.
Joe Blow Like I also stated, the Amazonians werent 150lb, 36 24 36 sized women. They were regular sized women. So you are still basing that off of all of one depiction of Wonder Woman. And the fast and furious movies are her only major movies(and probably the only ones youve even heard of her in) and she is a tertiary character. Not even a secondary one. So how can you call someone a d-level actress when youve pretty much never seen her in any actual role before?
Everything you said about MoS is purely opinionated. If you turn a rational, logically thinking mind on, that much destruction from a godlike superhuman in his first ever fight with someone of equal strength, makes a hell of a lot of sense. If you turn off the fanboy, sheep mind of "Oh its superman though! He's perfect and never makes any mistakes and always magically saves everyone without any collateral, even when he's not really superman yet and never fought before!" , MoS is actually smartly written. Especially for the grounded setting they are creating for this cinematic universe.
A know it all, sarcastic, asshole with a tendency to talk down to others because he thinks he's better than everyone.....how is this a bad thing for Lex Luthor?!?!?! He's played other roles before other than that, but he has played that role very well. So i dont get what your gripe is with that.
Regardless of opinions on Snyder, you are forgetting that David Goyer is also the writer for BvS. He also wrote the Nolan trilogy. By no means bad movies by a no where near bad writer.

This trailer looks amazing. Killer croc with no lines sold it for me. So glad they didn't go cgi because he looks great. Jai might surprise people. I'm really looking foward to katana, she looks great in every promo so far. This movie will do great. Wide diverse cast and characters for everyone, pg13 but with rated R edge, and add joker and batman... should be great.

I've always been a huge Digger "Captain Boomerang" Harkness fan, ever since the John Ostrander SS run. He's always the Squadster that does the least, until the real hard fighting starts, and decides who the weak link is to get them killed to save himself. Every time I see Captain Boomerang in the trailers I chuckle like an idiot. It always reminds me of the time he knocked you know whom in the head, into the you know what, thinking he was "saving the day", and when he regroups with the Squad expecting everyone to praise him, instead everyone just turns to stare at him like "dude, wtf did you just do...". lol
How I think the time line of this movie goes
(In flashback joker turns harley)
1.Recruitment of the squad members already in prison
2. Do missions
3. Mission involving joker goes bad or joker interferes with a mission and harley goes into the acid bath and gets the blue and pink hair. Joker jumps in and saves her, winning her over completely.
4. Recruit the rest of the members of the squad(katana,slipknot)/Enchantress goes Rouge
5. Everything else we see in the trailer
