This is the BVR fight I really wanted. The skill of knowing when to launch, notch, turn away and knowing the range of your MAR (Minimum Abort Range). BVR fight actually takes as much skill as dogfighting to be honest especially once we get the much newer Fox-3s like the AIM-120D and K-77M with AESA seekers that actually ignores multi-pathing along with the PESA radars.
It's like a whole new game. You rarely get to the dogfight, and if you do, you gotta switch your mindset instantly.
Anyone know how to get that black and gray camo for the F-16C?

@@AeroTurtle You gotta unlock the target before they go out of the max radar gimbal because the missiles will change course to track wherever the indicator gets dragged to even if that's not really where the enemy plane is.

I'm going to love both Mirage and F-16!
I currently prefer the Mirage in sim pre-patch with nigh-unflareable magic 2s and cracked low-speed performance, fly low and bait anything American into a low-speed duel - especially F-15s and F-14s
But that F-16 HMD is just sexy as, all the information I need wherever I look? Yes please.

Most the time though you can just pull your nose onto them extremely quick and pop them with a Magic
Does the c still have total 60 countermeasures or did they give it more in the update? I’d hate for it to only have 60 total
The c always had 120, its the a that have 60. F16d has 200

@@HighRiskV ok, but there is a bug report that says that it has the upgraded rwr
10+nm at 13kft is definetly not inside the mar for the 120a btw xD both of you have been firing at very far ranges the mar should be closer to 4-5nm if they roughly resemble perfomances in others sims. also shooting twice on a single leaf is 98.51% of time a wasted missile other than going for soviet doctrin expecting your seeker to fail at random xD
