Let's improve the well being... then deletes all the rooftop terraces Where will The Beavles perform without a rooftop terrace?! Don't forget about dotting shrubs and lights all around the place... they'll make it look nicer too. Why not add a load of campsites? There's some much good space near both housing areas... just chuck em in!
The Beavles are under contract with another bearded TH-camr currently. I think their manager would demand a pretty hefty fee to pry them away from that channel 🤣
I kind of love how research work in Timberborn. Making say a 4 long suspension bridge, then they still REALLY have to research very thoroughly the idea to make shorter bridges! It would make sense if one had to research the shortest bridges/overhangs and so on first, before unlocking longer ones.
An idea for a housing project. Blast a hole for a lido and water dump. Path around the hole. Housing around the path. Overhangs covering the lido. Roofing optional. Boom, indoor pool.
hey JC, don't forget to export the extract so the Angora goers can commence their activities. :D Also maybe put a small explosives storage in each district. HUGS great video.
At 34:00 why you make the power goes in the building by under it than just make a "T" at the back with the strait powershaft ? 😂 You tried to used new thinks every times but you makes things harder than can be done😅 But great job for all !
Heya JC! I would move those three grismills up and place them on top of the three larger warehouses, if you want to keep them there. Means the "cabling" would also need to go up one block, but that would make it look cleaner as well. Loving this series quite a bit!
✴️✴️ gravity batteries on top of reservoir, .. if you plan on a second row facing out .. build them FIRST on overhang & they can act as a power bypass when you replace the straight POWERSHAFTS with batteries... Since windmills now connect 5 ways, use them as a top to vertical shaft & think of them as a vertical to 4way‼️‼️‼️
19:54 Better than pausing, you could reduce the priority. So the materials will first go into more important things and later go to that if you have builders and materials available.
18:20 1 pump is 3 badwater per hour. The centrifuge needs 4 per 0.75hour/45 minutes, so 5.3333 per hour. So 2 pumps feed a centrifuge and add 2 badwater every 3 hours on top of that.
That place up there needs an active water pump We need some gears storage to produce them even if you are not using them And why not plant some more oaks down there to not have th beeing hauled from up there
Well being tip. Use the platforms and bushes, statues, roofs and other single/ small deco around. Could also place a campfire with a bunch around the to give a huge boost to the ones going to it.
(I know I'm late to the party, so feel free to ignore.) → From my understanding, the overhangs are mostly useful if you want to have something else below them (trees, crops, non-solid buildings). Otherwise it just using platforms seems cheaper (unless you go really high and need multiple levels of platforms). (And in the reservoir, you can't really use the space under water anyways.)
If you stack 2 single lodges on top of each other, they take the same (3d) footprint as a double lodge and sleep the same number of beavers. 3 double lodges take up the same 3d footprint as 2 triple lodges, and sleep the same number of beavers. So in terms of space, the base buildings all work out to the same - though building the access infrastructure might make a difference. OTOH, in terms of resources (not counting access infrastructure) the double lodge is the most efficient. For 18 beavers, you need 6 regular, 3 double or 2 triple lodges. The cost, respectively, is 72 logs vs 60 logs vs 70 logs. IMO, triple lodges are kind of a trap.
46:44 ✴️✴️💡💡✴️ since you already have stairs to the top of [ 2 high platform] those large storage buildings you could add platforms around the OTHER SIDE, & 1 HIGH stairs down to existing 1 high platforms in preparation to add 2nd layer of large storage ... 🤔🤔🤔Also the unbuilt storage that might face the mountain has the door where a notch exists, so if you have access by platform from other side, there is no rush for explosive ‼️‼️😁😁😁
Place a single level platform in front of all entrances the put a roof on it to make a covered entrance and get the roof bonus. You could use a shrub, or statue instead of the roof to get those bonus points. Do the same at all crossroads using shrub or statue for increasing welfare.
Don't feel bad! It was a new feature in Update 5, so it has been maybe 9 months since that was officially released. Before that, there was a mod called Mirror Buildings but it wasn't foolproof and didn't play nicely with mods.
43:31 💡💡💡✴️✴️since those 3 buildings [ grist mill❓] have power .. I suggest you build 1 to 3 OBSERVATORIES connected to their power ✴️✴️✴️ ... If in the future you plan on dynamite out the land to plant more ( can you dynamite UNDER 1 high OVERHANGS❓)
Do any of the wonderful modders in this community know of any mods that would combine the folktails and iron teeth? I love the iron teeth but I hate the breeding pods! Is there a mod that lets them breed like the folktails?
Voters concerned after another failed campaign promise comes to light. "Vote for me and I'll improve your well being" JC was quoted saying around 48 minutes ago prior to constructing 2 story brothels across the city.
Fine? FINE?! Did your mother let you leave a mess around your room like that growing up? If you have the time to build something, you have the time to store something. Pick. It. Up.
1:48 15 hours worth of uncut JC ignoring the beavers and trying to catch up with chat for like 9ish of those hours

Just an observation, an Observatory is justified.
You could have damed up near the bad water source to get little more out of that place during drought, which acts like a teenie tiny reservoir. 😅
30:30 easy, observatory and large water pumps lol

I think that place up there has no water source of their own. both haulers might be spending a lot of time carrying water up that hill.

Dont forget to put rooftop terrace back! Your village is looking goo!
Just a heads up the "Ladders" mod has been added to the Steam Workshop.
Ooooooo, good too know.
Don't forget the ones upthere need fun things as well!
Right where the bad water bypass If you put a stair of the side of the Gear work shop you might be able to make progress from two sides.

You need to improve the well-being of the beavers upstairs too, don't you? Shouldn't you add another agora and roof and such in the second district?
You can add a set of stairs behind the Gear Workshop to be able to build the bypass from both sides
Dont know if you thought about it but dont forget the impermiable floors
HOLY CRAP! 30:09! I'm a beaver in your city!!! Day 18-13, I was born!

You can build a second floor on the regular size lodges and the single roof does double duty

you could put one of those contamination barriers on the lower level up by your oak trees!
you can use a windmill as a 4 way power connection on top of a vertical
FYI Ladders are available with the experimental mode steam workshop access.
22:30 behind that double lodge that has a 2x1 space, should put 2 little single lodges with a 2x1 roof on top of them :P

Put a small extract tank across the entrance across from the agora, next to the contemplation spot.
Don't forget to have extract storage in front of the agora building..
Definitely! Meant to put a small tank there and ended up getting distracted before I could do it and then the episode was over. Next time for sure.

Probably need to put well being things in both districts to increase the numbers
