Not quite. They aren’t operating at full capacity. They are making some doctors fulfill the roles of MAs or LVNs even.

During my 30-some years' hospital experience (mostly emergency trauma center RN) , I watched in agonizing consternation as our once-enviable public trust healthcare collaborative devolved into a $$$-generating sickness-care industry.
I can tell you that the most "greedy" are NOT the hands-on staff, but bean-counting adminstrators who care only about THE ALMIGHTY BOTTOM LINE!

Please get the facts straight, Kaiser is the best place to work these unions are asking 6-7 % hike for everyone one there are many underperforming workers who spoil KP’s name and UNIONS care for them only. Average Kaiser Permanente Licensed Vocational Nurse hourly pay in California is approximately $37.89, which is 25% above the National Average. This strike is only for UNION leaders and their caucus who don’t work.Poor front staff fall for it. Kaiser is providing free healthcare + good salary + retirement pensions is that not enough?

Speaking from a medical field worker. I hope Kaiser doesn't get whatever they want. In my industry Kaiser pays top dollar not even a trauma 1 hospital and until you know what that means consider yourself lucky. Not even Kaiser workers want to get treated at Kaiser however like I said they pay top dollar. I work at a trauma 1 hospital and we don't get paid as much as Kaiser not by a long shot.

Kaiser employees are already paid so good. Oh my God! They can cry me a river. Also experienced some of the worst customer service there.
