  • I was recently diagnosed with stage IV (severe) endometriosis. Please share this video. It is very important to get the word out about Endometriosis because this is a nasty disease if left untreated and/or not detected early.
Lets be clear, I am not making this video for people to feel sorry for me nor have pity party with me. I have did that enough on my own. I cried everyday in the hospital thinking why me. But that is life. You need to deal with obstacles that are thrown in front of you.
All of the footage was taken with my iPhone so I apologize for the lack of quality.
I had surgery in July and I just completed a six-month round of Lupon. My Doctor/Surgeon wanted to take a look at the condition on my pelvic area to see my scar tissue and see if anymore endometriosis was present. We scheduled a basic Laparoscopy procedure and I was supposed to go home the same day. It was complications and I was in the hospital for 7 days. I woke up in extreme pain with my boyfriend standing over me. He informed me of the catheter I was wearing and that I’d be in the hospital for a few days. The surgery was complicated and extensive. After removing the endometriosis from the first surgery, a lot of scar tissue formed on my bladder and ended up attaching and sticking to my bowels. So my bowels and my bladder were stuck and were separated while I was under. I will get more information about this and how the doctor fixed the problem when I go to my follow up appointment in a few days.
I am choosing to share my endometriosis journey and information publically because I want to create awareness for this disease. If you are experiencing the following symptoms please contact your primary health care provider:
    - painful periods
    - pain with urination or bowel movements
    - excessive/heavy periods and/or spotting
    - pain with intercourse
    - pelvic pain/abdominal cramps/back pain
    - difficulty becoming pregnant

I had endometriosis, and unfortunately, I had to have a hysterectomy before I could have any kids. I pray you are cured from this dreadful disease.

True Saiyan Hysterectomy doesn’t cure endo only adeno. If you are pain free after hysterectomy then you had severe adeno.

I'm still living with this condition staying on birth control and getting through my periods with narcotic pain medication. I've recently heard excision surgery is the only way to remove all endometriosis, The center for endometriosis care in Atlanta Georgia is the only place I know doing this procedure. I'm going to need a bowel recection, and I'm not ready to endure this type of surgery. This is an out of network provider, so even if I had insurance it would not be covered. They need a 5,000 down payment and the total cost could well be 90 to one hundred thousand before it's all said and done. Endo warrior's facebook page has updated info on endometriosis if anyone out there needs any.

thanks for responding back. I had surgery in Sept to remove ovary where tumors was at. week later had bowel obstruction. Now I'm having more pain went to hospital said endo everywhere stage 5 and other ovary have tumors as well and liver have leasion as well. Not to say I have lupus. Now they say they think its best to do another surgery after I just had one. I'm overwhelmed. I can't take depo I had that years ago didn't agree with me. I go to gyn next week to see when surgery again. This is a lot to deal with pain unbearable. I hope you get the surgery soon or find a place that can help. Thanks for getting back and provided information. my fb name is trinayvonne Bakinta. I will look on fb see Endo chats. thanks hopefully you will feel relief soon.

Worst condition ever, I knew I had this in high school found it in a women's health book and no doctor would listen. I'm 45 now. Had a partial hysterectomy 5 years ago. The scar tissue had attached to my bladder, cervix, and bowels. So my uterus and cervix were removed. Last year I started bleeding again cramps again, how? The scar tissue had started to regrow because I still had my ovaries. With endometriosis the tissue bleeds outside of your uterus, that is we're the blood was coming from. When they went in the scar tissue had formed a tumor on my rectum. So bye bye ovaries and hello menopause at 45. Pray that everything is okay for you know, honey. I need to do a video on my channel about this. Blessings!

@@jenniedevereaux2696 Praying for you my dear, I don't know what your age is. But, if your still young enough for children and want them. Have your doctor stop your cycle now completely. You know when you take birth control pills yiu take the week of sugar pills. Well don't start a new pack so you don't have a cycle or do the shots to stop it. Only way no stop scar tissue growth is to shut down the ovaries. It was to late for me to have babies, by the time I got a specialist that understood this disorder. My blessings was I adopted a baby boy nine months before my first hysterectomy 🥰🥰🥰 Stay strong warm baths help with magnesium flakes to relax the muscles, if you take pain meds start a regimen a couple days before your cycle begins. Catch the pain before it starts, if I didn't do it this way I was fainting from pain every month. Lord I tear up just remembering this. I pray this helps you in any way.

Hi I’m so so sorry all of this happened to you. I have not did an update because I haven’t had anything new to report as far as this condition goes. I’ve had 2 kids since then and wanted to try for one more but my husband is done done with kids. I’m not having cycles because I’ve been nursing my babies. My youngest is 4 months so I’ll nurse her until she’s one then talk to my doctors about the next steps.

I hope you're doing better now, right now, what you said about you can't rush your body to heal... You're so right. It has been a week since my surgery and I'm living with ice packs on my incision because it still burns. I'm so new to this, I never even knew I had this until I was told that I'm stage 4 after waking up when I just thought I was getting ovarian cyst removed. You're also right about our mom's, I know what pain she's in seeing me in the state that I am. She's been my rock. I didn't know how bad this was or really what to do after. Right now it's just heal.

I know the feeling I had my surgery on January 19th of 2017...they removed my tissue and a 5cm cyst...it was very painful before and after surgery...before I even knew I had endometriosis I was trying too conceive a child for years and couldn't and having irregular cycles (mainly non at all). And til I went to the er with shooting pain from my private area so making a appointment with my obgyn he did the ultra sound and discovered the large cyst on my ovaries and the endometriosis...so in May of 2017 I found out I was pregnant and she was born November 21,2017 a month early with staying in the NCIU for 21days with nothing wrong but weight she weighed 4lbs 3oz and is now over 10lbs....Look @ God

Thanks for sharing your experience. I think I've had endometriosis for several years now, and I went to a specialist the week I found out I was pregnant. Now that I've had the baby, I need to go back to find out the next steps. I've been trying to spread the word about endo as much as possible. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Question for you! I have been seeing my OBGYN for bleeding and pain and pregnancy symptoms they said I didn’t pass a pregnancy test but he said he’s been suspecting endometriosis… he told me the only way to cure it is to get pregnant, which from my research sounded fake but I can’t see anyone else due to insurance. When you were pregnant did you bleed from the endometriosis? How did you know you were pregnant and how did the endometriosis affect the pregnancy

  • @goose7574

That's so crazy that they had you drink that stuff and do an enema, and I even had it around my rectum, pelvic floor, bladder and lots of other areas outside my uterus, fallopian tubes & ovaries. I've had two surgeries and never had to do that (Thank Goodness). I just had to stop eating at either 10 or midnight (my surgery was at like 9). I can't imagine having to do that stuff. Yuck!!!! I feel for you. My surgery lasted over 4 hrs and I, too, had to be admitted, because they couldn't get my pain under control. I'm so glad I've had some relief since the second one (Endometrial resection), followed by going back on birth control (taken continuously with no period).
I hope you were able to have some relief for a while. If you ever want someone to talk to who's been through it, I'm here...

I pray that you are recovering well and thank you for sharing. I have a question how long ago was the first surgery if you don't mind me asking I had a lap a year ago and still experience the same pain. I'm wondering if it's scar tissue or the endo has returned. Thanks in advance

my story is different. years ago I had left knee operation and I was in so much pain that I was put on high dose of morphine which all I did was sleep all day. I was supposed to stay for only one night but I had complications in my surgery too and because I couldn't wee properly I was put on a catheter. so I stayed in hospital 5 days in total. I always had nurses coming in to see me every second and I was never left on my own. the nurses were worried about my breathing so I was put on oxygen mask for a night. I hope you are better now.

I've had two surgeries for Endometriosis. I will be having my third in a couple weeks. I've luckily never had to do a colon prep.

Endo really stinks. I was a DES DAUGHTER and started with symptoms as soon as my first period. I had 5 laparoscopic surgeries. The last being a hysterectomy. I now feel like a new woman. I am so glad I had laparoscopies. Open surgeries are a bear. I worked in tbe OR as a tech so I have seen many open surgeries. I never had children but I had the hyster at age 36. I only was in the hospital for 2 days. Hope you heal well and get back to work soon.
