      @LyneaSilver 4 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      He failed the hand release push-ups, technically, but the Army guy didn't tell him all of the requirements. Your feet can't be more than the width of one of your feet apart, and you have to fully extend and lock your arms when you do the T. Both of these things disqualified the push-ups he did. You also have a specific amount of rest time authorized between each event, and we don't know if he got that rest time, or if he got too much rest time (which would disqualify him if he did). But we'll just trust them on the last point.

    • @RyanELemon
      @RyanELemon 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@LyneaSilver also the rest position was wrong. There is no rest position as per FM 7-22
      The only way you "rest" is by slowly moving your hands out when in the prone position. It's not the plank at all. And in the Deadlifts you cannot move your hands or reposition them. For Leg Tucks there's a certain diameter bar that's used for a reason so they screwed him there but otherwise it wasn't bad at all. Just slightly off what the Army standard is

    • @CailinnNoT

      @@TakenByStormEquestrian i dont know if they told you this but 1: grenades arent 15, or even 10 pounds in weight and 2: if a grenade gets thrown at you, your first reaction wouldnt be throwing it back with your back at the enemy (or throwing it back in the first place) is would most likely be to get to a safe place. You dont know if someone held a grenade for 2 seconds before throwing it and it took 2 seconds to get to you, knowing terrorists, most of them dont have proper training and probably use unconventional tactics like cooking a grenade etc

    • @duffle881
      @duffle881 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      He technically failed. His feet were to far apart during the push-ups. There is no authorized rest position during the push-ups. During the deadlift he repositioned his hands which is not allowed. And he only did 4 or 5 leg tucks properly (which is still a passing score). Also the SPC graded the ball throw based on where the ball stopped, not where it first landed. The SPC grading him failed to properly grade him, that might explain why he is a 9 year SPC though... Moral of the whole thing is none of his push-ups counted and if you fail 1 event you fail the whole thing.
