As a Army Drill Sergeant and someone who’s certified to give the ACFT this is what I have to say....first good for her for attempting it. Second she failed the entire ACFT, you fail an event you fail the whole thing. Thirdly she didn’t keep her back straight during push ups, she turned around while dragging which is a termination, she didn’t touch her elbows during the leg tucks, and there was too much time between events. Not her fault that she didn’t do the events correctly she just wasn’t properly informed how to do them.
May I ask, because my hubby wants to join the army, and I was wondering, is this a test that he should be able to pass as soon as he joins, like to see if he's fit to join, also do you have any tips on how he can physically get ready for basic training and such so he passes and gets in, thank you so very much
I thought she had too much time (breaks) between the events as well. I’m glad they did not get rid of the 2 mile run! Those push-ups look crazy...I’m going to have to give them a try one day.
@@donpedritomarin7901 what Drill is referring to is that you need contact on both sides at the same time, and most of those reps the Marine's left side wasn't even coming close
She has nearly no muscle mass. Good lord, beating her...I did construction work all my very long life and I bet at 70 years old, I could tow/lift more weight than she. Running: nope, too many leg injuries and surgeries over the last half century. No need to run when you have a gun.
@@emsnewssupkis6453 But of course, but what would be the point of that comparison? That is why it is a good measurement to use such a small person in the test. I am 47 and i would also do very well on that test, some results would be maxed out and the others would be upper 75%. eg. i would probably do the 2 mile run in about 15 minutes and so on. Deadlift 220 lbs is really easy to be honest. I would most likely still pass the Ranger PFT. Then again, this is a test for evaluating the average Joe. I think the girl did really well.

The ACFT standard is to complete it in one shot within 50 minutes or less. It looks like she took it broken up and throughout the day. However, she is a badass either way and I truly believe that if she took it the correct way with my Soldiers she would knock it out the park. She is pretty damn awesome
Coming from an actual Army soldier, everything was done wrong. It wasn’t the right bar for the deadlift but that can slide I guess. The ball for the ball throw is supposed to be 10 lbs. The pushups were miscounted. Both hands must be on the rope at all times for the drag in the sprint drag carry and you can only back pedal. And for the leg tucks, both knees must touch your elbows. And I don’t know how accurate the 2 mile was. We usually just run 8 laps on an actual track. And you forgot to add her 36 push-ups to the total score
She made a very good attempt, but she would have been disqualified on multiple events. I can only assume it was because the directions weren’t made clear enough.
@@rickycawston1335 Only 3 leg tucks counted. All the other ones both her knees didn't touch her elbows. She did a very good effort but it's a lot easier when your knees don't touch the elbows. Her body was not on a straight line for a good number of those push ups, a lot of sag. She didn't start the sprint drag carry from the prone.
Honestly though, shes not that strong. I've trained several girls who are significantly stronger and even lighter. Most girls her size could achieve this level in about 6 months of serious training. In a year, far beyond this. Last week, a girl I trained pulled 80kg deadlift (around 175lb) and she weighs 36kg. She regularly pulls 70kg for reps. 2 years out from an acl tear too.
Wow, she is TINY! She looks like a child next to Austin. At first when she said she was 90lbs I was like WHAT!? Then I realized that she's like, 4' nothin' and it suddenly made sense.
This is pretty damn good, not surprised though. Most women in any branch cant even do 5 tops of push ups like that. We are in pretty good shape, PT in every unit I went to was always pushed. Other branches will talk smack but across the board, they know 😁 Semper Fidelis
She would still be too weak to perform in actual warfare. She would force anyone bigger and stronger to do the literal heavy lifting, for example. Good lord, she weakens any front line troops, fatally.
Somebody high up in the Army really likes Crossfit too much. That medicine ball toss is dumb. It is a complex explosive skilled movement that requires practice to get good at. So that means the Army will have to buy millions of medicine balls for normal PT. I can see that exercise leading to a lot of injuries in the back, neck, and shoulders.

She did great overall, but for the leg tucks she needs to make sure she touches her elbows to her knees, or they wont count them at all. I only counted about 3 leg tucks
She also needs to have her fingers and thumbs extended and joined during those HRPs. And that ball is not the authorized ball for the ACFT. The Drills would've stopped her pushups at 18 when she started arching her back, that is unauthorized and can be counted against you. At 3:46 he says "32" then he skipped to 43 in the next second... For the SDC she is supposed to start in the "down" position of the t pushup. Not prepped and ready to run.. on the side shuffle she switched sides, that is unauthorized. Also, after the third leg tuck she never touched her knees to her elbows, automatic failure. I know y'all are Marines and you're not used to the ACFT, but I also heard you reciting the actual regulations which sort of eliminates that excuse... why do you need to cheat and give her more points on these events than she actually got? Furthermore, if you wanted her to take the real ACFT you would follow these regulations as they were put in place for a reason. Not trying to be a drill but come on! Do it right! This whole new test is really cool! I really like this new combination of events! Great job Army!
She should try the ACFT in with what her MOS in the MC is- say she’s a fueler or a desk worker, because the ACFT changes depending on the MOS. Infantry soldiers have to do much more than a 42A or 92F, but a 92F has higher standards than a 42A. If y’all did this already, I’d love to know her MOS!
@@aaronlubrant7860 I counted 3 correctly performed leg tucks, and I'm a level 1 grader. Her left side wasn't even close to touching for most of that event
Yeah, didn't want to be that guy But she got counted a bunch of push ups and leg tucks that wouldn't pass in a official test. Making it clear that when he said you only have to get the minimums to pass is somewhat true but its MOS dependent. She did they absolute lowest standard. Theres heavy, significant and moderate. She failed at the moderate level with many extra accommodations and more time between events. One hell of a try tho!
A few other critiques, hand release push-up starts in the down position. Sprint drag carry starts in the prone position, almost no rest when transitioning between the first 5 events then 10min rest before 2-mile run. Passing score is based on your MOS, or unit standard, There are three levels that are considered “the minimums.” Maximum score overall is 600.

There are a lot of regulations and rules to the ACFT that unfortunately they missed, but she did a damn good job. Even though she technically failed, she's obviously fit and healthy. Good video 👍🏻
There’s a lot of Marines in my apartment complex. I see them individually working out constantly, running and lifting weights. This is in addition to all the fitness training they do at work. They push themselves hard to be in the best shape possible to be ready to defend our freedoms. They are the Best of the Best! Corporal Ramero
As a female who did construction work, after hours, I would go to the local gym and work out to tone up specific muscles like the chest muscles which are the weakest for women. On weekends, I fought in full armor in the SCA years ago. Lots of fun but broke my arm one day, had to stop that, it interfered with work.
This is coming from an army Ranger, retired raider, combat hunter, deer hunter, crocodile hunter, marine infantry, Olympic runner, golden globe champ, mortal combat champion, mma fighter, navy seal, and crime fighter, all I can say is that at least she went up there and did her thing.
I've been out of the Army for 15 years now. I have to say, this testing appears to be a lot more practical and a better assessment of physical fitness than the old pushup, situps, 2 mile run APFT.
I disagree with the assertion of it being a better assessment of fitness. 1. That overhead throw is not a measure of physical fitness. No only from the physical aspect but from the fitness for duty. That activity is not only something you don't do, but something you should almost never be doing. 2. The hanging curls are a measure of various competing strength maneuvers, not fitness. That isn't terrible, but there are some inbuilt reasons why that type of testing was removed. First, it is biased toward lower body weight, but particularly for physically demanding MOSes you need more body weight due to the increased muscle requirement. Second it is primarily dependent on *static* grip strength, rather than dynamic. Again that isn't physical fitness. Even a rope climb is better than this because it is a dynamic grip strength event. Regarding physical activities, static grip strength is quite rare. When you need grip strength it is almost always dynamic. 3. Deadlift does not measure fitness but strength in lifting heavy objects. Certainly applicable in terms of capability, but not in physical fitness. In order to get into that territory it would need be a lower weight with higher reps. But that aside, those weight targets don't make sense given military guidelines/restrictions on what constitutes a "2 person lift." They are having you lift more than you are officially allowed to lift on your own. Furthermore, this pushes training to a more powerlifter weight training to be able to even know what range your 3RM is, let alone how to do it. This is not an event that you can just do general fitness training for and walk into. Side note on that last sentence: the point of a general physical fitness test is that it is general, not that it requires very specific training. If they really wanted to test physical fitness they would not be doing the test this way. Instead they'd be doing things like heart rate monitoring during the run to check for things such as hart rate variability, how quickly the HR recovers post-run, and how high the HR gets and for how long. This would give an objective measurement of cardiovascular fitness. There are similar things that can be done for aerobic capacity. A key problem here is fundamental. They are trying to make a "one size fits all", not look like they are lowering standards, and not look like are intentionally setting a bar women can't handle. That is a recipe for failure. Instead, they should use something more like the older one (2min setups, 2min pushups, 2mi run) as the general, but have an additional one per-MOS where you can develop proper criteria for what the job entails. Of course, that means that certain jobs will have significantly higher difficulty to pass their fitness test, for obvious reasons. However, that would also mean the some of those would in the aggregate be more often failed by women, and that would look bad. That the test is having a "high" failure rate does not mean it is a failure. That it fails to test what it alleges to, that it fails to represent activity while representing itself as doing so, and that it actually pushes training for it away from effective specialty training and into a cross-fit gym, that it it makes it look intentionally biased due to the much higher failure rate among women, these are why it is a failure.
Hey Austen, great video and excellent content. Btw I’m in the Army Reserves, I’ve taken the ACFT countless times and just here to note some small errors in the ACFT presented in this vid. 1(Deadlift) it’s not just about lifting the weight but also controlling it on the way down (don’t drop the weight, many soldiers have failed this test due to that (hex bar recommended but optional)). 2(T Push Ups) Always maintain a straight body (move your body as a single unit). 3(Power Throw) Try to use a smaller medicine ball (have a person actually mark where the ball lands while you grade her). 4(Drag,Sprint,Carry) PLEASE don’t drag the sled with one arm in front of the other because it won’t count, when carrying the kettle bells don’t just drop them because that also won’t count (drop them to where the kettle bells are still standing upright). 5(Leg Tuck) Overall it’s the most common exercise that many soldiers fail but just make sure through every rep BOTH elbows and knees touch together. Overall I think the marine passed, gave this a 👍🏽. Hope this becomes helpful. If you need any examples of the ACFT just search them up on TH-cam (there’s a lot of them).
It isn’t easy, I’m in the Army myself and done the ACFT several times, and let me tell you, it’s the worst in mud, because that shit cakes up all in the front and you’re dragging like 20 extra pounds of just mud
I love how it says she passed overall.... going off this grader she failed the SDC so she by that she fails the whole event.... Have a DS like myself grade this with the correct equipment and set up and time frame and see how she does. Good effort though.
I always find it odd they don't bring in a representative of the branch to show them how their PT test actually works, so they can try doing it correctly.
I would've failed half those pushups. Back was bowed and not straight. And she paused in the arm extension for a quick break. That would've terminated the event.
Yes, "technically" you're right. If you're in the military you know damn well how everyone performs and conducts their physical fitness tests regardless of branch.
Fairly good video... Although being an ACFT instructor (as of last week) There were several flaws. 1) Just one failure... Is a failure. So she failed according to your chart. 2) The ACFT is rated off of you MOS, moderate, heavy, significant (yellow, silver black) 3) Dead Lift is done with a different bar. Yours was way harder. 155lbs is actually 62 points not 60 4) Sprint Drag Carry... During the drag, the weight is actually on a sled, She got really screwed there. And she's not actually allowed to turn around at all. She would have passed with weights on the sled. 5) Left tuck... She only touched her knees to her elbows ( both at same time ) a couple of times. I will give her 3 so that would be 6) Push up 30 is 70 points ( your counting was way off!!! lololol 7) 2 mile run... a 14.59 is 90 points. Just FYI
"We're going to score her right here." Me: Awaiting eagerly. Reality: "Oh you think you'll get to see the results? Nah lets show you a couple adds first."
The female corporal take in the army combat physical fitness test did a great job. Although I do have to make one correction, she did not pass the ACFT as she failed the sprint drag carry (The maximum time to complete it is three minutes.) you have to pass all the events in order to get a GO. I was really impressed she ran 2 miles as fast as she did because after the sprint drag carry your legs are totally smoked. Overall she did a great job for someone who has never taken that test before nor practiced. Again, great job Corporal.
For basic they only have to pass the minimum standard which is pretty easy. At my AIT, the ACFT wasnt really a graduation requirement. You took one at start and if you passed gold, you were good. If you didnt pass, you just retake it like 3 weeks later with another class and they would mostly pass but one or two would still go through. (It was a heavy MOS too).
I am a woman and I say this as the truth, most woman run out of steam with upper body strength when lifting there own bodies... Push-ups, sit-ups chin-ups etc. Over all I'm impressed with what she did, she is very fit, she is not your average woman
This isn’t an accurate representation. No hex bar. Wrong medicine ball. Appears the time in which the event was conducted wasn’t as quick as it should be. Would like to see one to reg
Agree, it was not. From the wrong weight on the deadlift to the medicine ball and so much more. If you are going to put it out here at least do it correctly.

The ACFT is much better to my mind than the old PT test. Much more interesting than push-ups, sit-ups, and 2-mile run. Back in 88, I believe I scored a 250 with 44 push-ups (can't do them worth squat), 91 sit-ups, and a 12:12 in the 2 mile run. Using the new track at Fort Ord really made a difference in my 2 mile time as the normal runs I'd do on Reservation Road resulted in times around 14:40 consistently.
Re-read the instructions. You don’t have to move as a single unit, that’s old APFT thinking that will bolo a bunch of Soldiers. Also the sled was missing from the weights for the drag
Run, run, then run some more. None of that treadmill stuff either, run outside on the pavement or track as much as possible. You definitely don’t want shin splints in boot camp or even worse, a stress fracture. Also, gain as much muscle as possible between now and the time you leave. You’d be surprised at how many Recruits can’t even finish the O-Course the first time they run it which is sad cause it’s really pretty easy, but if you’re weak and out of shape it’s 💯x harder. Good luck! You’re joining a great branch, take advantage of the opportunities and don’t do anything stupid to get a dishonorable discharge. Again, you’d be surprised at the crap Marines do to get themselves kicked out.

Some of the testing were off, but good effort from this marine. For the sprint drag carry, it’s just a straight shot on pulling back the plates. No running forward while dragging the plates. That would be a disqualification. The hand release T push, always starts with your body to the ground. None of this front leaning rest position.
She wouldve got disqualified for using one arm to drag the sled. Granted its not on a actual sled with handles but yeah. I have to take this Acft every month when I have drills. My best sprint drag carry was 1min 41 seconds
Just to let you know since I got to experience the acft the graders are strict some of those push ups wouldn’t count same thing with leg tucks and would’ve failed the entire acft just because she failed the sprint drag carry but overall great performance I love it
She struggled to drag the weights in this which was the only reason she failed. Had she been given the proper sled it would’ve glided along the grass much easier than just having bumper plates on the grass. I do agree on the leg tucks though, although considering how most women can’t even do 1, it’s pretty impressive
She also didn't start the SDC in the prone position, she also threw the KB'S instead of placing them. And yes they set her up for failure with that unapproved sled. As far as leg tucks she did well overall. And the deadlift is difficult to assess here considering that we used the hex bar which weighs more and requires more stability and balance and control than the straight bar. A few items to consider here. But overall not bad. She could pass the ACFT.

Considering she didn't train specifically for these events, I would say that tiny 99 pound woman did good. Have her train those exact events for three months and come back. I think we would see a whole different outcome.
We were in Germany at a gym, wearing our Air Force shirts. A bunch of marines kept looking at us like, we didn't belong there. I went up to the pull-up bar and knocked out 35 non-stop pulll-ups, they turned the other way. ha,ha. i was and still are in very good shape! classic moment!
Half of her push-ups wouldn’t have counted. Her body wasn’t a generally straight line from her head to her toes. She was using her knees to get get up. She only did 3 good leg tucks. She didn’t touch the elbows with her knees.
She's the type of female you want in the military. Her drive and willingness to push, to grow, to be better, are what is needed in the military in general, from both sexes.
She said crush the acft. Some of the fittest soldiers in the army find it hard to max the test let alone crush it. And before u trolls ask me how I would know, use ur head to figure that out

I entered the Army just as they were transitioning to the APRT. One of the reasons they went to that test was that it could be done with a minimum amount of additional equipment. Now it seems like they've gone back to doing a test that requires a great deal of equipment.

-ball has to be 9” in diameter, measurement not to standard, needs extra grader
-come up as a single unit for the HRPU (no chest first), full t every single time
-sled needs to be drag backwards no turning when wanted, both hands in contact with each handle, no jerking
-both knees or thighs must touch both elbows or upper arm simultaneously
Among other things :)
Hex bar would be easier
She did great overall, but for the leg tucks she needs to make sure she touches her elbows to her knees, or they wont count them at all. I only counted about 3 leg tucks
Alex Navarrete that's good , that's passingl
Ans if you can clearly see that shes screwing up reps then have some integrity and just keep repeating the number until she does it correctly.

I've been out of the Army for 15 years now. I have to say, this testing appears to be a lot more practical and a better assessment of physical fitness than the old pushup, situps, 2 mile run APFT.
I absolutely agree with you and I've been out 31 years now.
this new PT test is stupid
@@larrywimberly4930 Care to elaborate on what exactly you think is "stupid" about the test?
what was wrong with the pushups sit ups and 2 mile run it worked fine for many years now it looks like a cross fit class

Yeah now let’s see her drag HIM out of danger and see how far she makes it.
@Joshua Bressel No, the SDC isn't really that tough, it kills your legs, but the Leg Tuck is the killer for women, based on current testing results.
Fairly good video... Although being an ACFT instructor (as of last week)
There were several flaws.
1) Just one failure... Is a failure. So she failed according to your chart.
2) The ACFT is rated off of you MOS, moderate, heavy, significant (yellow, silver black)
3) Dead Lift is done with a different bar. Yours was way harder. 155lbs is actually 62 points not 60
4) Sprint Drag Carry... During the drag, the weight is actually on a sled, She got really screwed there. And she's not actually allowed to turn around at all. She would have passed with weights on the sled.
5) Left tuck... She only touched her knees to her elbows ( both at same time ) a couple of times. I will give her 3 so that would be
6) Push up 30 is 70 points ( your counting was way off!!! lololol
7) 2 mile run... a 14.59 is 90 points.
Just FYI
Count went from '32' to '43' on the HRPUs. Gave her an extra 10 - Impressive performance none the less.
"We're going to score her right here."
Me: Awaiting eagerly.
Reality: "Oh you think you'll get to see the results? Nah lets show you a couple adds first."
She did pretty good for being 99 pounds to be honest lol
She did pretty good BECAUSE she was 99 lbs
The female corporal take in the army combat physical fitness test did a great job. Although I do have to make one correction, she did not pass the ACFT as she failed the sprint drag carry (The maximum time to complete it is three minutes.) you have to pass all the events in order to get a GO. I was really impressed she ran 2 miles as fast as she did because after the sprint drag carry your legs are totally smoked. Overall she did a great job for someone who has never taken that test before nor practiced. Again, great job Corporal.
Half the Army won't be able to pass the new ACFT.
Nah they'll be fine.
They made us take the ACFT in Basic and AIT as graduation requirements it wasn't bad at all .
True
Yeah it’s lax
For basic they only have to pass the minimum standard which is pretty easy. At my AIT, the ACFT wasnt really a graduation requirement. You took one at start and if you passed gold, you were good. If you didnt pass, you just retake it like 3 weeks later with another class and they would mostly pass but one or two would still go through. (It was a heavy MOS too).
She failed completely, but nice attempt. You should have had a certified tester/ grader to ensure correct movements.
She is a 99 lb pound female. I respect her attempt. She outcompeted the vast majority of females in this.
I'm sure a raider is unqualified......said nobody 🙄
@@matthewhirschhorn8060 you respect her looks you say?
@@matthewhirschhorn8060 I saw 99 lbs females who actually passed so...
You gotta keep that deadlift steady too, no dropping
Agree, it was not. From the wrong weight on the deadlift to the medicine ball and so much more. If you are going to put it out here at least do it correctly.
Also both knees did not touch the elbows on every rep, the events are supposed to be back to back with specific time between each event.
I bet you most of the Reserve and Guard units won't have the right equipment either. She did really well compared to Soldiers I know. I'd love to see her in 10 years.
@@PinstripeJim my guard unit has all the right equipment every unit ive seen in FL has an abundance of equipment we were ready to conduct the acft this year until they pushed it to 2021

I’m at boot camp rn, I’ve done this test about 5 or 6 times, it’s a lot fun but it’s pretty damn challenging, a great fitness test for sure
Basic training*
@@brentonwillis5682 I was in AIT at the time and I use boot camp to refer to BCT and AIT because non military members wouldn’t know the difference, so I just use the term boot camp as to not have to explain it to civilians
@@TDragon8 Navy, and Marine corps call it boot camp. "Basic" sounds like something recruiters came up with to make it sound simple. It sounds better than hard miserable beat-down camp.
@@qua7771 I say boot camp because that’s something civilians understand easily, plus AIT isn’t Basic, so needed a general term at the time.
@@TDragon8 I was joking around. I was Navy. Did you get weekends off in AIT?
She needs to work on the push ups and leg tuck some didn't count. She did a good job. I went to Basic Leadership Course and the ARMY are serious about not snaking when doing push ups. Your body needs to be straight from head to toe. Leg tuck, the knees and elbows should be touching.
You are 100% right on all of that
@@zoomdirt2 Well, is her first-time doing ACFT. So I give my Marine Corps Sister one. Orahhh!!!
Her body was straight for the vast majority of those pushups. What are you talking about? Only about the last 5 or so didn't count.
None of this was conducted to standard the only go was the two mile run.
Some push-ups can't be counted. Failure to keep generally straight line.
None of the DLs counted
Re-read the instructions. You don’t have to move as a single unit, that’s old APFT thinking that will bolo a bunch of Soldiers. Also the sled was missing from the weights for the drag
@@meecebloke yes you do, lol. Try doing those push ups in the ACFT and watch how many count. T-push ups are quality over quantity.
meecebloke sadly they won’t count it unless your entire body moves up as a single unit. I’ve missed multiple counts cause of worming mine
A general straight line? Not a perfectly straight line, but I’d say she actually kept a ‘generally’ straight line, yes?
Yes she did most of these wrong but half the exercises she hasn't even done and is not used to them she was great
She’s impressive as hell! Great job CpL!
Signing up to be a US Marine in a few months I still have a lot of training to go through to get to where I need to be at
keep it up!
@@flanagamer will keep that in mind I'm willing to work through the difficulties any day if I have to push myself beyond my limits to lend a hand for the u.s, reach swat and to become a marine I'll do it no matter what!
I like to join the marines but, tbh idk. The uniforms look better which is a plus, it’s tougher than other branches but I think I’d handle it good, maybe bc they aren’t as nice 😂 as a drill Sargent in the army
Michael Engelmann Boot camp isn’t hard and what you wear shouldn’t determine your branch 💀 that should honestly be the last thing you factor in
She got like 9 leg tucks. The rest didn’t count because both knees did not touch the elbows
Some of the push-ups and the sprint drag was a failure as well .. so she failed the whole thing
She only needs 5 leg tucks.
@@mydcunited correction, you only need one to pass. I would know because I’ve taken it twice in the last 5 months
@@jyzf I was assuming she was doing heavy
Some of the testing were off, but good effort from this marine.
For the sprint drag carry, it’s just a straight shot on pulling back the plates. No running forward while dragging the plates. That would be a disqualification.
The hand release T push, always starts with your body to the ground. None of this front leaning rest position.
She wouldve got disqualified for using one arm to drag the sled. Granted its not on a actual sled with handles but yeah. I have to take this Acft every month when I have drills. My best sprint drag carry was 1min 41 seconds
Even in BCT we didnt use an actual sled. It was similar to what they used in this video.
@@aidenallred2672 you didn't have a cloth base with 2 handles mounted on it with something securing the weights down?
When I did mine, it was a rope with a mat the weights were sitting on. 1:32 💪
@@ThatGuy-nv7cx That was the proper sled, I was actually surprised by that. We used that slide during basic and at my unit .
It’s not official until 2023 so Army soldiers have time to train

The red ones taste the best.
LMAO
but she has huge chest muscles.
Yeah it makes no sense at all. I only clicked because I saw a hot female Marine in the thumbnail lol
Unpopular opinion, I prefer orange crayon 🖍️
Considering she didn't train specifically for these events, I would say that tiny 99 pound woman did good.
Have her train those exact events for three months and come back. I think we would see a whole different outcome.
I'm sure she's fitter than a LOOOOT of females in the army, she could probably ace it in a few days after getting the movements more.
I think she could do the shuttle if the sled was on an actual sled. Dragging two weights with nothing under it is hard.
Gawd damn, I was about to say, that would be tough for anyone to drag 90 pounds across the ground.
Dragging 90lb when you only weight 99lb on grass is extra hard.

Half of her push-ups wouldn’t have counted. Her body wasn’t a generally straight line from her head to her toes. She was using her knees to get get up. She only did 3 good leg tucks. She didn’t touch the elbows with her knees.
Who cares, I was admiring her "form"!

She's the type of female you want in the military. Her drive and willingness to push, to grow, to be better, are what is needed in the military in general, from both sexes.
She said crush the acft. Some of the fittest soldiers in the army find it hard to max the test let alone crush it. And before u trolls ask me how I would know, use ur head to figure that out
Facts. Ive taken the ACFT 3 times already, the test is definitely hard to max out but it’s an easy pass for anyone going for the minimum.
You should get cash nasty to run the obstacle course

I really like how on the end she fails a category but still gets a pass. I really hope someday in the future I'm not a guy that she has to carry across the battlefield that's wounded because she can't carry 90 pounds 50 meters.
I entered the Army just as they were transitioning to the APRT. One of the reasons they went to that test was that it could be done with a minimum amount of additional equipment. Now it seems like they've gone back to doing a test that requires a great deal of equipment.
I've been out of the Army since '03. In beer years that's about a 100 years ago! 😄
