In the last video, we did a variety of projects ranging from steering, corner armor, rollcage work and the rig really started to take shape! In this video, we are one step closer towards King of the Hammers with our Fox triple bypass shocks and coilovers! The bypass shocks are tuned and custom valved for our setup and racing use directly from Accutune Offroad. If you are planning on new shocks, then give them a call to see what they can do for you!

For the 4500 class, we are allowed to run 2 shocks, limited at 14" travel and 2.5" diameter. 14" shocks can start to become tight to package when you have 2 on each side and youre not working with a tube buggy, but its possible!
Limit straps and bumpstops are always a very important things to have, in this video i show you the limit strap setup. I have previous videos of bumpstop setup, and will hopefully find a good location on the rig and start that project up soon.

Ben that rig is looking badass!! Going to be a beast on the trail 👍🏻
Well it looks like your doing better since your Surgery but your probably not out of the woods so please don't over do it because might end up back on the table.
If you were closer, I'd come help you! Looking forward to seeing this on the lakebed.
Awesome! Glad to see you're being thorough with cycling everything to make sure it all clears. Cannot wait to see this thing rip at KOH!
What an amazing transformation of a JK to a KOH beast... Watching in amazement as you progress through the modifications. Aussie fan🇦🇺😎🚙
Glad your shoulder is better
Ben, from a serious factory Jeep Modder to building this. Could you TRY and explain the level of excitement this build is creating?
Those shocks are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You are SO CLOSE to finishing up the drive train and moving on to wiring-preheat the shop and I’ll come up and help😆
Can’t wait for KoH!
Video everything! Lol even if you have edit and release videos after KOH just video it all!!!
I've been following this guy forever. Literally bought a red jeep because of him lol!
I'm building a red yj now
Love you to death man hopefully I can see you one day and ride with you
Well done, Ben. We’ll see you on the lakebed in a few weeks 😀🤘🏾
I just finished ep. 3 right as this popped up. That was literally the most amazing timing
Really enjoy the Koh build .u are doing a great job of explaining and showing all the clearance of suspension parts . Showing more then most people do. Can’t wait to watch u live at Koh .sick job 🤘
Great 🇺🇸 stuff 🇺🇸 👍
Can’t wait to see this race at the Hammers, I’ve never been and decided this was the year.
Very impressive - even more with you 3 weeks out from shoulder surgery 😮
Nice Job on your Jeep. Your about to lose that arm sling pretty soon please be careful so you don't end up wareing it longer.
Looking GREAT! So glad it’s close to being complete
I’ll be at KOH, hope to see you there. Keep us posted on what day(s) you’ll be on the course. Killer build!
Good to see this project is coming along, great to see your shoulder is getting better, too. Fantastic build.
Dam dude. I’ve been pondering on how to set up limiter straps. I honestly have no idea. I was going to ask on a couple fb pages and even thought about asking you.
Thank you for your knowledge and time. I appreciate you 👊🏻
Looking killer my dude! almost time for no sleep and endless thrashing to get done in time haha.
Keep it going you guys!! Love learning from your channel!!
Another great video Looking forward to testing And tuning video
When is the new video comming up?!?!
I gotta find out how to make 10k a month in the USCG reserves because this lifestyle is awesome
Very good video 👍
Coil spring diameter changes thru compression and extension. Most likely not much when using a coil spring with low pitch angle but if you are really close you better take a second look when springs are installed.
The upper and lower coils on each coilover will not change enough to require any additional checking. If that slider clears the frame and/or tire without the springs, it will clear with the springs installed (and at full compression).
Will there be another video out before KOH?
How’s it looking?
Been a while since we got an update, gonna make it out for KoH? The suspense is killing my 😂
Any new YT video on the build coming soon?
You been working out or something? You've dropped some weight. Anyways, love your videos keep up the great work 💪 😎🤟
Love watching your channel! Question for you, what gear company do you recommend? Thanks
Revolution and Dana spicer gears seem to be best for the newer Jeeps. Older stuff, revolution or yukon
Do you have ay issue with mud tires with on road performance like wet roads and highways or icy conditions? Thanks
Question, can you ready tune it without know the true weight of the rig or each corner? I know you can get a good guess on weight of the overall rig, but to each corner?
Not 100% but it can be a night and day difference from the out of the box valving. Still will benefit from some on site tuning
@weinowei143 Mostly a base tune, and we will make further adjustments with an on-site tuning session.
Nice axle bracket for the dual shock i got the same one one question or if you can cover it in the next video does it matter if the bypass goes on front or the rear of the mount wichever side? Also are both bypass and coilover the same lenght side by side since the bracket looks like its lower one one side of the axle tube im waiting on my bypasses but i do have the bracket so wondering how ill tackle it aswell. Great vid as always loving this build and csnt wait to see you wheel it
It’s interesting… they are both 14” shocks, but the bypass only has about 13.25” of travel, about .5” less than the CO. So with the offset bracket height you really have to play around with them to get them to bottom out and extended at the same time.
I have a suggestion.... you don't need to follow it but you guys should turn cassies channel into a vlog/ long trip road and off road channel... just so the channel doesn't go to waste....it might be a lot more work but it'll be worth it in the end... and then of course have links to that channel on this channel because of course this is your more popular channel and you'll be able to have new viewers that are exploring this channel to also possibly check out that channel and bring up the popularity of that channel.... I know it's a lot but it's food for thought... something to think about for the future... you might be able to do both the filming kind of together and just edit the videos you take to fit either channels needs... sorry for rambling...great to see you doing better
Sorry but I got bored with these race Jeep videos months ago as I will never build one. I personally find your old “normal build” videos to be much more interesting.
Agreed. I like his older DIY style videos. These are cool, but not the same anymore
Looks good Ben!
