Bus driver shortages are a given and they’re simply too shocked at your ignorant question to respond. Schools need drivers available between 6am and midnight or later with school activities. The pay is poor. There are no benefits, kids are not well behaved anymore and routes generally don’t leave a driver open to finding an additional job to work around it. Treat drivers better and they might solve their problem.
