Those Braun lights are awesome until they start failing. I've had 3 of them now and all 3 have failed the same way. At some point something fails, probably a solder point inside, and any tap on the light shuts it off. Get the extended warranty on it for sure.
My local stores are not selling the mini tool boxes anymore even though they’re in stores until November 22, called customer service they didn’t know about this and are contacting the regional director and corporate.
The Pittsburgh Travel Tool Set Case 20:28 I highly recommend this set. I keep a set in every car, in all the kid's cars too. If the car ever gets broken into, it's a $30 tool set; and, not your prized tools. I take this set into junkyards with me; because they're just that handy of a set. Has a little bit of everything I might need. One time my wife called about her car's dead battery. I gave her the address of the battery shop; where it was covered under warranty. She used a jumper starter to get going and when she got there, they told her there would be $30 service charge to replace a warrantied battery. She's like, "GIRL POWER". She used this cheesy tool set to replace the battery herself. Tool set paid for itself, right there. Yes, there are way better sets; but, for a low price emergency set, this kit is hard to beat. I just bought another one this weekend, as an upcoming Christmas gift.
Helping stranded motorcyclists on the side of the road. It's happened 3 times already. Twice when stopped at scenic look out spots; and, another time when offroad. Great little set to lend out. And they were all grateful. Cheesy little sets are rather handy; out on the road.
I came to say the same thing. I had one in the trunk of my car until I gifted the set to a newly married friend. It came in clutch several times going to a relative's house, and they wanted me to fix something. It's not a comprehensive set, but it beats hitting up dollar trees in a crisis looking for pliers. It is flat and doesn't take up much room in my Camry's trunk. My only complaints were the precision screwdrivers fell apart (probably not crimped well enough to stay in the handle), and screwdriver bits and Allen wrenches always fell out when opening. Since I gave away my last set I'm looking to buy again.
As far as dry wall sanders, I don't use them. I've replastered several rooms in my house, yes, straight mud and lathe, and the trick with mud like dura bond is you finish it WET. If you finish it with your trowel when it's stiffening up, (firm to the touch but not hard) spray it with water from a spray bottle and go over it with your trowel it will be glass smooth.
I was just thinking about you the other day. Hadn't seen a video of yours in awhile. You're looking better and healthier than before. God bless you brother.
Never been able to get anything a cent below price. I haven't even got then to admit a coupon is available when I ask when I forgot the coupon at home. I have heard a couple of handicapped people in the store talking about getting the manager to give them discounts. The local store does not stock the store well but they will go to the back and get an item if you ask. They are giving more items to youtube shops, but the prices have and are going up quite a bit. One shop was given the smoke machine and they just gave them the 1700 dollar t10 scanner and he likes it. I guess that is good for advertising but not for the average guy working on his car at home which is why most people go to HF. Thanks for the video.
The Bauer corded impact gun is better than you think, if you don’t want to buy into a battery system or a big compressor to run a pneumatic set up, then the Bauer impact is for you, would I use it in a professional shop, probably not but for the home garage it will do everything you need it to do, absolutely love mine for the convenience.
You were talking about how brands change over the years. Well you are so right. I started using Weller soldering guns back in 1976. They were heavy duty awesome durable guns. Well I lost my old D550, the big one 300+ watt and bought a new one exactly same model and I tell you it's a piece of junk. The trigger is so stiff it makes your finger hurt just after a few seconds. The lights wiggle around. The cord is so stiff it's hard to keep it away from what you are soldering. Piece of junk now. So sad.
I don’t know how accurate the weight rating is on the engine crane, but the 2 ton version will definitely lift at least half its advertised capacity. A great tool for lifting anything heavy when a floor jack just won’t do.

for the on the go jack, I use a 3 ton bottle jack. There's a guy on eBay that sells an adapter for it to get a really good purchase on the axles. Since I have a Jeep, finding axle isn't an issue! It wouldn't be great for a car but I have a full breaker bar, torque wrench, and jack setup in a bag that lives in the back of the Jeep. That Bauer impact is getting added to the bag.
This is almost the same as the current parking lot sale. I’m guessing they’ll add individual items and maybe some brand wide deals as the sale gets closer, similar to how they did it with the PLS. This looks rather weak. I was always told that their Black Friday sale was usually one of their best of the year. We’ll see if they add to it.
i mean i work at harbor freight and nobody is wrong about it being fake sales. take a peak at price changes and youll realize almost everything has doubled in the past year alone, the “DEALS” are just the price you would have paid a year and a half ago.
That's called inflation and its hit everything. Prices go up over time so unless you have a time machine saying "Well back in my day it was cheaper" does not make it a "fake sale"
@@denoftools you dont say.. but there is no way there isnt more than just inflation at hand. these companies are using that same boring excuse to take advantage of our dollar AND somehow convince us it costs them more NOW to pay the chinese to make the crap. all of the corporations.

Black Friday at HF is always meh. Glad there's a few gold nuggets this year. I might be the only one that likes the folding Allen key set 🙂 I think they're great for light work around the house and probably get 90% of my non-automotive stuff done just fine. For serious work I have my Craftsman set I got in the early 90s. You got it right about the herc brushless gear. My father was a professional mechanic for 50+ years and he was blown away by the herc brushless impact I bought.
The grinder might not be a super deal at $10 but at that price I may have to pick that up. I rarely have the need for a grinder but $10 is essentially free compared to the $120 for the battery platform alternative.
Mid sized air compressors are good for framing and roofing crews running multiple pneumatic nailers. They may over sized for a home owner and undersized for air tool users, but they have a legit place in the compressor hierarchy. They're also not bad for small paint sprayer projects. A hotdog won't keep up, but one doesn't need 28 a gallon compressor to do a couple of picture frames.
Black firday just doesn't have the same excitement anymore. The only noteworthy deals I can remember is a few years ago the junkyard had a half off everything for black friday.
Menards has a 5 drawer tool cart under the performax line identical to the US General from harbor freight. I saw it in store today and tag says order online. Online price is $249
The car port is like you said a $180 kite. Had 1 make it 1.5 years. Had mine anchored down and it bent after 1 good thunderstorm. I straightened it the best I could but the next good storm we had bent it again and broke a bunch of the pipes and ripped the tarp.
I have the 1 gallon and the 26 gallon ultra quiets, that I paid $128 (sale) and $136.49 (return) for. The only thing that was wrong with the 26 gallon return is that the customer put one wheel on backwards, so it was jammed against the tank and wouldn't roll! First I added some washers to get it rolling, then realized that flipping the wheel over was all that was needed. My next yard sale will have the red 3 gallon (Central Pneumatic) HF pancake and the blue McGraw 3 gallon hotdog that I paid $40 (sale) and $19.50 (clearance) for. They both had served me well enough for tire filling, but now seem unbearably loud, after using these ultra quiets. The 26 gallon 175psi has opened the door to air tools, paint sprayers, and a plasma cutter.
Agree on air compressor thing my 17g is almost no better for filling a tire than a pancake and won't run my plasma worth a crap I'm gonna go to a 60 and 2 inline watertraps prior to outlet amd hardliners in shop
I had three pressure washers, couple hundred bucks a piece, over the years and each one had problems after a year or so --Yeah, the problems were probably with me -- but we bought that Portland unit in the ad here at about the same price 4 years ago, figuring that if we had any problems that I couldn't fix it wouldn't be a big deal, and that thing has just worked. In spite of my best effort, it just works, and it's kept working. When (IF) my current one dies, I'll get another one.
I’ve been saying this for years about the thread lock but it just never seems to manifest before the tools get used one time and fall apart the next time I pick them up 🤣
I bought one of these pressure washers and I used it about 10 minutes and it failed. I am planning on fixing it myself via youtube assistance so I haven't taken it back to the store. Did not buy the warranty.

Thanks for the info, I plan on getting the Predator 9500 generator that you have for my house when losing power, can I use any coupons with that on Black Friday if available? Do you know of any coupons or since it's on sale are they not allowed? Anything else you recommend buying with it? I read the reviews on the Harbor Freight generator extension cord to house and a lot of them say buy the Southwire cord from Amazon instead. Thanks for any help and keep the excellent videos coming!
The battery operated liquid transfer pump isn't returnable. Or at least not without a re-stock fee. But to be fair, I have bought a few of the various cheap pumps from HF that had that policy on them. Like the hand pump for gear oil. I never return anything, but they let me know when I buy those about the return fee. It makes sense I suppose, because what are they suppose to do with a pump that has oil or gas left in it? I bought one of the transfer pump and haven't used it, but I have one of the types that has a cutoff handle and it has worked so good, that I figured I would use the HF one as parts for the good one because the pump body looks identical going from memory.
I'd disagree about the folding Hex key set. I own 1 for my ebike I put around town on. It fits everything on the bike and is tiny and light to carry in my bag. Would I use it in a shop? Not really but it has a great portable nitch use... if you need one.
Right side head wheel on the creeper because most people are right handed and are leaning to the right as they work on things, putting more down force on that wheel.
I got that 8 gallon McGraw compressor for $60 when they had that last big liquidation sale - on the small side but it’s proven useful for the McGraw small barrel air hammer a few times I’ve had to use it on my semi in short bursts.
American Flags should be made in America
I agree but if they were, they’d be 3-4 times as much. Still, it would be worth it for Americans, but it wouldn’t be worth it for companies. So, there should be a law.
True, but why pay $60 when I can pay $5?
I agree that it would be better if they were made over here but I'd rather have more cheap flags flown then less expensive ones flying out there.

@@saysbadman lol 😂 - STAY AWAY FROM HARBOR FAKE !!!!!
@@amtpdb1 👎 😂 Only a FOOL shops at Harbor Fake !!!!
Thanks, I don't have to go to Harbor Freight this weekend. I didn't see anything I wanted.
This was a good review.
So sad.
So true
Yeah, Weller got bought by Apex.
Enjoy your insight and your comedic delivery. U da man.
Thanks for all you do for us DIYers.

Project farm did a test recently of inferred thermometers and that one tested near the top.. especially for the price
I don’t know how accurate the weight rating is on the engine crane, but the 2 ton version will definitely lift at least half its advertised capacity. A great tool for lifting anything heavy when a floor jack just won’t do.
I got one of those mini toolbox’s from menards for $8 not to long ago
How to murder your husband shows....made me remember a British Comedy my wife and I loved called "Rumpole of the Bailey"; an aging english barrister with a penchant for sherry and a wife he commonly referred to as " she who must be obeyed."
I bought that Vulcan Omnipro multi process machine when it first came out around 2018ish I believe. Caught them on one of the coupons you pointed out and I believe I got it for 749 or 799. More than got my money's worth so far.
I know from experience that a cheap 1.5 ton alum jack cannot lift a 3/4 ton pickup so maybe for a car but trucks pushing it I'd say that was a bone stock 2015 gmc sierra 4wd
I miss the Pittsburgh pro.. they had some great stuff. I had a Pittsburgh pro small kit they dont make anymore that was perfect for keeping in the car/bike
Just used the Bauer corded/cordless transfer pump to flush my boiler, worked great. Can't go wrong for $40! I actually got it for ~$34 with the 15% off anything coupon.
I got one of the new trailers in July by accident. They had one in stock and it said online not available until November. I bought it for the same price as the old trailer, so I took that deal!!!
If that creeper is blow molded; couldn't HF call up the factory and say; hey make it double thick?
Isn't the Lisle one really thick?
i have one of the older orange ones. mine flexed. i saw a youtube injecting foam insulation. worked great!
for the on the go jack, I use a 3 ton bottle jack.
@@donnie017 It’s Harbor Fake !!!
Save your money dude …..
i mean i work at harbor freight and nobody is wrong about it being fake sales. take a peak at price changes and youll realize almost everything has doubled in the past year alone, the “DEALS” are just the price you would have paid a year and a half ago.
Well we better buy before Trump takes office and you will pay 40 to 60 percent more due to import taxes. China and Harbor freight are not absorbing those fees
@@denoftools deleted my comment replying to yours, nicee
They need to send out flyers again !!
Excited to finally see icon sockets on sale, will be loading up big time
Can't beat the BF prices at 40% off !
@@SmithFarmTilton40 off for everyone or inside track? It’s 35 off now for inside track,25 non-members
Shopping at hf is like being on the game show of the price is right. U have to memorize all the prices to know if u can or will see a lower price.
I still miss the bear...it was much cuter..😂
I’ve got that tiny Bauer 20v blower, it’s actually a ton better than I had hoped it would be. I highly recommend.
I purchased a pair and they are pretty good, long battery life, worth the money. I also fall asleep with 1 AirPod.
Suggestion for marking cases, get contrasting florescent paints, and spray stripes of different colors at opposing corners.
Also super niche, but they’re the perfect size for forced air jet burners. Smaller compressors can’t keep up the cfm. Larger compressors are overkill.
Black firday just doesn't have the same excitement anymore. The only noteworthy deals I can remember is a few years ago the junkyard had a half off everything for black friday.
That 20oz hvlp spray gun can that be used for painting residences or does it really need to stick to automobiles?
Menards has a 5 drawer tool cart under the performax line identical to the US General from harbor freight. I saw it in store today and tag says order online. Online price is $249
The car port is like you said a $180 kite. Had 1 make it 1.5 years. Had mine anchored down and it bent after 1 good thunderstorm. I straightened it the best I could but the next good storm we had bent it again and broke a bunch of the pipes and ripped the tarp.
just picked up the 26 gallon ultra quiet fortress a few days ago with the coupon, it's beautifully quiet
Did I miss a 'on sale' log splitter in the Black Friday ad And thanks for the great reviews!
Agree on air compressor thing my 17g is almost no better for filling a tire than a pancake and won't run my plasma worth a crap I'm gonna go to a 60 and 2 inline watertraps prior to outlet amd hardliners in shop
Always love tunning in on these vids man! Thanks much!
The Daytona wheel dollies are a great deal. Used them on everything from a bare shell to a Chrysler 300c.
Im wondering if i cant reasonably put air tires on the creeper. I was one that busted that wheel at 195lbs almost right away
We ordered the plumbing crazy box on the August parking lot sale. It didn't arrive until last week of September. Paint is mint though!!!
The Air Compressor Starter kit is good if you're just short QD Industrial fittings really quick.
Folding allen keys won't fall apart if you use a thread locker on them. 😊
I was going to buy a 12k winch today. I'm glad you released this video. I'll wait a month and save a few more dollars.
Been wanting an Led Work Light tripod from Braun it looks like this is it
That synthetic rope winch won't stick you with steel slivers. (Yes, eventually a steel cable will, even thru cowhide gloves.)
I just upgraded my cherry picker pneumatic and love it.
Im on my third pair of Maui Jim sunglasses first two lasted a long time. You definitely treat them different after spending 160-200$ on them but they’re just better. My current pair is has the green tint lens and they are amazing. Can’t hardly use anything else now.
I smashed mine playing beach volleyball. I sent them into Maui Jim and for $10 they completely rebuilt them. Great customer service.
Do you think the Milwaukee 2535-20 3" cordless sander will go on sale anytime this year at all?
Want to check out that wood handle titanium hammer. Looks like a copy of my wood handle stilleto. Wonder if they will sell replacement handles
I bought one of the transfer pump and haven't used it, but I have one of the types that has a cutoff handle and it has worked so good, that I figured I would use the HF one as parts for the good one because the pump body looks identical going from memory.
the 3 gallon McGraw compressors are too noisy and slow. The noise level can drive you nuts, for use outdoors.
I'd disagree about the folding Hex key set. I own 1 for my ebike I put around town on. It fits everything on the bike and is tiny and light to carry in my bag. Would I use it in a shop? Not really but it has a great portable nitch use... if you need one.
Awesome i picked up a floor jack yesterday and was looking 3 ton jack stands for 49.99 will def get 2 sets if i can
Right side head wheel on the creeper because most people are right handed and are leaning to the right as they work on things, putting more down force on that wheel.
I got that 8 gallon McGraw compressor for $60 when they had that last big liquidation sale - on the small side but it’s proven useful for the McGraw small barrel air hammer a few times I’ve had to use it on my semi in short bursts.
That welding table is the EXACT same at Northern Tool. Comes with the same fit-up kit. There is no difference.
Top on the NT table is welded in place.
Tell them to Make the gen 3 bigger boxes come in purple!
Badlands Jack is back!
I have a predator 4375 and a Wen 3800. Both have been very good.
