    • @XxPermaGrinxX
      @XxPermaGrinxX 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@Freakphoto On top of this observation I add...who's really, in an everyday heavy use application trying to hold up 45LBs with a magnet...other than a mag drill and thats electromagnetic. I'm aware other niche uses likely exist but, If I need to trust a fastener with 45LB in a potentially clunky movment enviroment, the last thing im choosing is a magnet. But if its stationary and a modular addition to a tool box or such, then im putting over 45LB in it all day!

    The thing I like about the Maker Pipe is that it was just that one couple. They did a kickstarter for $87k, were able to make their small project their full time job, and built an entire US company manufacturing these just off of that alone. And its a cool idea, I first purchased their stuff to make stronger frames for holding up frost covers instead of PVC that could hold up to amarillo winds. I've since use them for all sorts of random things. And you know...at the end of the day its just conduit, so you can always cut it, bend it, get new stuff, etc.

    • @Elon_Trump

      pop up greenhouses

    • @LogicalNiko
      @LogicalNiko 16 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@Elon_Trump Exactly, and when you live in a place where 70mph winds are pretty normal, and your patio tables and chairs all have to have anchors to not end up down the block, normal plastic greenhouse frames don't cut it.
      The interesting thing is when you compare them to the proprietary systems, it make no sense not to buy these. If you need to cut a pipe, cut it...there are tons more at the hardware store. If you accidentally bend one, hit it with the truck, whatever...take the ends off and you're not ordering some replacement part. And at the end of the day you have pieces of still very useful conduit.

      Just a rant about the 3wheel trollies.
      but they are rubbish. because they have 4 wheels on the ground they resist turning, eventually bending the center axel but not before grinding the wheels into whatever floor you turning on. if it is none consistent steps, like many front doors (one step to the house and one more to the door) they will catch on the step and resist moving in any direction.
      now if you have a single wheel the same size as the 3wheel assembly these will often go up steps easer then the 3 wheels will.

      That electric jack would be great if you changed tires all day, but for a few times a year when I change from winters to summers and back, I think I can pump it up by hand.

    So much gimmicky stuff that seems cool at first but will fail in any real work environment. As someone who works with tools everyday in a heavy duty environment, I know the “more” a tool can do and the more way it can move it will fail significantly faster then a solid tool built to do a job.
