Maybe you can help me make a decision. I've always been an Associated person. Never thought I'd be looking at other brands. Maybe you're biased. I'm looking at building a associated sct10 4x4 from ground up or going with this Tekno 4x4
The sct410 was the best RC vehicle I've raced off road. Always competitive and unbreakable. Fast as heck, as nimble as you could control. The one issue was the tendency to nose dive, which could be compensated for, but it was kind of always there....does this one fly better ?
Ordered mine. Nice body. Helpful in my choice of body. Nice color scheme as well. Ohhhh yeah. Lol. Bought the body mounts after watching this video. Thanks Dean.
5:21 so I got my 410.3 some time back as an already assembled roller and I've got to ask. Those bolt things that hold the shocks in the arms. I noticed yours are off a hole. One side is on the inner hole and the other is on the outside hole. How do you take those things out in case say you ever want to swap out shocks. I honestly have no idea how to get those out. Not familiar with them.
Geesh overtime today' I commented before I realized it was not greg' lol these teckno machines seem really race inspired for sure I don't own one but always liked the buggy style. It looks like a very promising machine
Idk it's a fair bit cheaper than the eb48 2.1 which has all the options. I'm glad they kept it under $500 rather than putting all the features on it to start and charging $600-700. The only thing I'd have liked is a proper sliding motor mount included.
Great content but it would be better to compare it to the 410.3 since that is what it’s replacing and I cringe when you call a pure bred race truck a “pro basher”
Love Tekno but passing on this. Can't shock caps are still plastic, those strip and pop off way to easily. For the price, i would've expected more, not less. Guess it's off to get the SL.
Makes my heart smile to see SCT's coming back
This already has been an insane year for RC, and now this!!!
And the new MT410 is also in the works.
awesome news! where did you hear this?
i love how they make their stuff cross compatiable. its why ill always stick with tekno.

that drone death shot could’ve made the sickest transition in rc videography history
And the drone only bent a prop!
lol! Thanks! Luckily it still flies! I hate fixing them

Going to give this one a try. First Tekno. I have used Hitec servos but going to try the Protek this time.
I had the highest win percentage with my 410.3 of any vehicle I ever owned.
Check your shock bottom mounts. They are not mounted evenly. 5:22 mark on the video. The shocks w/ red springs
Must have been late at night when I did that! I did fix it before we hit the track...
Hopefully a mt410 2.0 will follow soon
Front shock in the wrong hole?
Good eye

Is there a part number for the body mounts to fit that body
@heathermccune9393 Pg. 24 of the manual. TKR5791. Hopefully that helps. I can double check what I purchased been a while but think that is it.
Great footage from the onboard cameras
Great video! I have always wanted a tekno! This one looks to be promising
Sweet Jesus...that thing is awesome!!😳
I love my 410.3 for bashing.... damn this is tempting for my fleet!
Awesome review, great job
Sick footage.
Looks good Dean! It's a FUN truck! 😁
Thanks, Rich!
I was at rc madness that day. I wish I knew you guys were there
Saw you guys racing from the sky! 🤓

man that looks so fun to build!
What body cover did you get for it
Looks good.
I still race my original sct410 and its still awesome but would consider this to replace mine.....Thanks
When will the 17mm hex option be available? Thanks
You should put the names of the music tracks you use in the description of the video
Yes
That new Tekno is super nice, can I ask what shade of orange is that you have on some of your trucks hanging on the wall behind you.
I’ll ask Bradley
Pro Line Fluorescent Orange with red edging.
(3 coats fluorescent orange , backed with 2 coats of white)
Thanks for that man, appreciate it.@@writedeanb
cool lookijng truck and review
Great video and one sweet looking truck! I might have missed it in the video, but what type (voltage) battery are you running this on?
Umm you should probably put the front shocks in the same location. You have one side in the lower inner and the other side in the lower outer
Great review! my OCD kicked in what i saw your front shocks are not mounted the same left/right :)
Must have been late at night when I did that! I did fix it before we hit the track...
What’s the story on the Ohio plate on the back? Wish we had a facility like this close to me in Ohio.
Negatives: bushings, ring gear, and pinion seem to be cast and not cnc.... the rest is bulletproof.
I wish I could afford one and how many Tamiyas do you have.
Only 1 Tamiya, an original Falcon. It was my first car!
Shocks aren’t mounted in same hole in arms lol.
Super! That car handles nice or is the driver just that good😅
It hooks up as good as it looks!
@@413RC it sure does, is that box stock setup or did you tweak the settings?
Completely box stock set-up
@@writedeanb I'm buying one. Great vid bud see you on the next one!
5.49m les suspensions ne sont pas sur la meme position 😊
Anyone even race this class anymore?
kinda irritating that for the Price I still need to buy parts to be able to tune the suspesion. I didnt know that when I bought the truck..

Great vid mate but please use the word "super" less! 7 mins in and I've heard it about ten times already lol!
I like their kits but they cut costs on this. Stamped shock towers? Common. The previous truck was more premium.
The 410.3 also has stamped towers.
the broken body mounts look 3d printed, next time use TPU to print them, that wont brake.
Yep, they are 3D Printed. If I reprint them I will be using a better material. I have the off set mounts that I mentioned on the way.
Great content but it would be better to compare it to the 410.3 since that is what it’s replacing and I cringe when you call a pure bred race truck a “pro basher”

Those are NOT short course trucks… it’s just a body. I like the way short course trucks drive and handle… it’s part of the fun
Almost $500 for a kit! No thank you

Who the hell is this guy
