Gary Bettman said he refuses to allow the coyotes to leave Arizona as this is the fifth largest city in America, and it’s also the fastest growing city in America. The Ottawa Senators can’t get a new arena approved, and their current one is a piece of trash that’s an hour outside of the city. They will relocate to Quebec where they can actually get fans to go to the games, I’m like in Ottawa. The Florida Panthers also would be on the chopping block before Phoenix because they can’t get fans to come into their new arena that’s relatively nice. And it’s not Geela River… It is pronounced HEEELA River. This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about because if he realized how rapidly Phoenix is growing, the market here is changing as more and more Californians moved into Arizona. I don’t get how people think the Ottawa Senators will survive not relocating before the Phoenix coyotes, when Phoenix is now the fastest growing city in America, and at the end of the day the NHL is a business and Gary Bettman knows that the Phoenix coyotes will start making a profit, now that the Las Vegas golden nights have proven that hockey can flourish in the desert.
