Not just the welding guy helping hand too. At least they could vear sefty g🕶oogle. I was working in warehouse, I forgot to wear my safety boots, former wouldn't let me in .In this place can't see any safety rule. Shame hard working guys without any saft gear.had, boots, etc.

Really amazing process. Didn't understand how that last seam was welded together, was it heat/induction that made that seam weld? I'm sure your country appreciates all you do to keep things progressing. Hope one day to see a better work environment for you all.

Yes very high current induction welder, I installed and commissioned an Indian built precision tube mill around 20 years ago, the circuit breakers for the induction welder were plastic ribbon tied around the cable holding closed a micro switch, I couldn’t believe it when I first saw it
These guys have absolutely nothing in that building that isn't required to do the job at the very minimum. Even the tools were in horrible shape. Who are they competing against that does it for cheaper? Can automated steel factories beat the cost of these guys? Here in America people don't start their day without a $10 dollar coffee and complain when there wasn't enough cream in it.

very slow production , but still cheap . the quality of the basematerial is not constant , one time soft one time useless , about the safety , the moment the company has to pay sickdays and sick leave the ppm etc will improve drastically

This factory is a disgrace, broken brick all over the floor, holes in the floor, rubbish everywhere, come on how they can produce anything that remotely resembles a finished product is beyond me.
fun fact : all this oil, grease and water is not wasted, it is used by the factory next door which "produces"... "delicious snacks" 😎

Having seen how that roll of steel weight quite a few tons was handled and placed on a precarious spindle stand, makes me ask how many men get crushed to death. Health & safety in the UK would have a field day

Making things to high standards safely means a higher cost product. That doesn’t compete with these guys so the U.K. doesn’t do anything near to the amount of steel production we did. Sadly cheap always seems to win
I have worked in the steel industry for over 30 years and I can’t express enough how wrong everything in this video is. I imagine they have a high death rate there.
