If she’s 80s, then she was born 1941 or earlier, she’s lived through Japanese occupation and horrors of the Korean War.
My Grandmother used to say 'There's nothing new under the sun.' She had seen so much in her lifetime. She was a.VAD nurse during the second world war in charge of a ward of 50 injured soldiers. But I think she would have been shocked and dismayed by this.
Something she would have seen used to treat horrible injuries, now used for this sort of thing and so much money spent in pursuit of it.
There have been many odd plastic surgery stories over the years. What is her name Wiildenstein who wanted to look like a cat. Very odd!

He seems like he has some major insecurity issues, and likely body dysmorphic disorder. If that's the case, then I feel like the Doctor performing the surgeries is just taking advantage of mental illness to make money. Plus the fact that he thinks he looks identical to Jimin, but is still getting more surgeries, shows that he will just keep going and no amount of surgeries will be enough. If it's came from a place of insecurity, I can kind of understand it. I was bullied for the way I looked too. And when I was a teenager I obsessed about getting surgery to make myself look better. And it came from a place of real self hatred, and thinking it would make everything better. But this isn't just a case of wanting to improve your features, this is a serious obsession. I hope he ends up realising how seriously unhealthy it is.

My mom was a psychology major, and she taught me a lot of things. Everyone reacts to certain situations in our lives differently. To me, it looks like Oli didnt get much attention growing up. He probably wasnt noticed by girls, friends, maybe even his family. He noticed that if he did something that surprised people, he would get attention. So his goal was/is the shock factor. Whether it be good attention, or bad attention, people were paying attention to him. At first it was probably just a liking to bts and Jimin. Then he liked him so much he went through a small surgery to look a little like him. People noticed him. I don't think he's actually obsessed with Jimin. Not completely. I think this is him screaming for people to notice him. Honestly, I feel bad for the guy. Not saying he might not have a deep psychological issue. I'm just saying, there could be more to the story than any of us realize. Then again he could just be an obsessed sasaeng. This is all my opinion of him. Not at all fact.

I dont feel bad for him because he hurts people. I feel bad because maybe he's hurt. "Hurt people hurt people." Again, he may think bad attention is better than no attention at all. I dont know him. I dont know who he truly is. I try not to judge too much, because of that fact. Who am I to hate him. I'm no one. He's still a human being, even if we dont agree with how he's living.

I feel like bullying turned him into this, maybe he had only BTS to relieve stress and thus became obsessed over Jimin. I also think part of it is for attention, the attention he never got he gets now ad it makes him feel noticed (except in a bad way). i think because he is maybe recognised as "the man who wants to look like jimin" in korea, he heard people saying things like "that's the guy trying to be like jimin!" in korean, but he only understood the word "jimin". These surgeries will never make him happy, they'll just make him miserable and empty. I also thought he was supicious, i wondered if he was actually a fan, he constantly crosses the line. Plus, some of his surgeries dont look like Jimin at ALL, i thought he was just making it all up. Thank you for reacting to this, i think you were neither too mean, nor too understanding and kind. You were just very honest. However, I think that Jimin could post a video saying "I hate oli london!" and get a restraining order, and he might be delusional enough to think "oh my god, he noticed me!" instead of feeling ashamed and sad. he's like a sasaeng. He tries to find Jimin in Korea as well. It's just very worrying. He just wants Jimin to notice him no matter what, and it's scary. Christian Mazerolle also, i said the last two lines bc recently i saw how oli london was positively reacting to negative things of him. on dr phil, he was told that what he was doing was wrong and harmful, anyone else would be embarrassed, but oli bragged that he was on dr phil, is so proud of all the media attention on him. he definitely has an “all publicity is good publicity” mindset to me. he’s said in interviews before “jimin definitely knows about me now” even though most people would assume jimin would be uncomfortable and would hate the idea that their idols hate them, he was totally happy with it ! happy that jimin would know him even if he hates him and everyone makes fun of him. i think it’s a really potentially dangerous mentality. based on this video alone which didn’t include those clips , i think my last two sentences come out of nowhere but i’ve been watching a lot of things about him. however i’d be really happy if he never started to get angry that jimin is ignoring him. i guess it’s a little harsh tho i understand , thanks for the comment
