Yes! Now it is more clear that this is #SarahBrightman singing, as released by my label in Portugal in 1982 on #WarmRecords licensed from Whisper Records i.e. Jeff Calvert and Sarah B.
This is actually Sarah Brightman if you don't believe me look up the video titled "Sarah Brightman - This is your life (Part 3, 1989)" they say that it was her on there.
I think this is actually Lora Munro who has recorded on the Klone record label. The track is off 'Forever Sound of Music' released by Almighty Records.
We brought Sharon Campbell and Jeff Calvert over to Portugal (Algarve) in 1982 for major National TV, RTP-1 in 1982. Sharon mimed to this but we believe it is Sarah, although Jeff never disclosed the truth. However it may be that Sarah is only on "Going on Sixteen" by the sound of it!?
what did she say? "this medley stuff is total crap, just give me the money but whatever you do, don't put my name on the label, I'll never get any good parts again!"
Just heard this on BBC Radio 2. Quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life! 🥰👍🏼🥳
ditto!!
AT LAST!! Was beginning to wonder if I was only person on the planet with this vinyl classic!
I could certainly believe Julie sang this. Love it. Picks up on the hooked-on medley craze of the time.
Sarah Brightman. I would recognize her voice anywhere.
