@@YhuntermusicAlso at 2:49 where you get rid of the “Beats and Time “ display on the left and you say “Over here we have our loop cycle “.. We can’t see what you did there .. How did you get from “Beats and Time “ display to “Loop Cycle”? We can’t see your hands and can’t see what you did .. How you went from one to the other ..
This was the easiest tutorial for the introduction of iPad logic pro version to follow so far. Everyone else talks too much about Apple and the missing features, and they go on and on, etc. You went right to it, showed the important stuff made a really cool beat. I loved every second of it, It helped me out a great deal. Thank you.
I wasted so much time thinking i could learn this without watching some tutorials… I was wrong…this software has many aspects that are just different than any other software….and I couldn’t really accomplish anything. This type of posting is definitely very helpful and man i really needed help.
Brother you are saving my entire life with these tutorials. I finally sprung for the X32-Rack for my live shows, and now I might as well multitrack straight into in a DAW, aka my iPad running Logic Pro. Still figuring out the X-32 shizz. Appreciate everything you're doing.
Here are some helpful tips for the Presenter and New Users: 1. After picking drums and then clicking on the Piano icon, users need to be shown how to change Play Surfaces to get to the Pads. Mine stayed on the Piano Play Surface and my install of Logic Pro for iPad is fresh. 2. To find and pick, Oak Felder, click the down arrow on the far right of the Sound Packs row. All the installed Sound Packs will become visible in a drop-down multi-row layout.
Man! I’m praying you do a complete series on this! Especially with chopping with the quick sampler…thanks again your dope man! My favorite baseline maker! Peace
Awesome tutorial! Really easy to follow and informative! Would love a dive into recording instruments like guitars both acoustic and through apps and amps! Ace video man, instant sub and like. Sick.
Really good tutorial! And I totally dig your video setup with multiple camera angles and excellent lighting. It is really clear. What brand of lights are you using?
I enjoyed your video Brother! Please continue, I would like to see more of your go to plug in for different instruments, vocals and setup recommendations. Also, a great bonus would be a template for your workflow.
Great tutorial 🎹. What iPad are you using and hope much ram should one get when getting a new iPad or iPad Pro: 10.2 or 12.9? Will we need the Apple pen? Thanks!
Great vid, im much less confused now, thanks: ) ...my only question is this is my first day using logic pro, & i dont have an interface yet (its on the way, but it hasnt been delivered yet), is there any way to record vocals on logic pro without one? When i plug in my usb-c mic to the ipad it seems to totally disable all audio, from the speakers & from my bluetoith headphones...everything is dead quiet. Thanks for any help in advance, & again, great vid either way.
I’m new to this and it’s still a little fast by the time I find something you said you have moved on to something different so I have to keep rewinding who’s is cumbersome on TH-cam
Anybody knows if there is possibility to import instrument to iPad version? I need Metal Drum (Palm, Ping and Slap) instruments which exist in desktop version of Logic. But I cannot find them in iPad version (I downloaded all available packs). Any way to import?

For the midi controller, did you just use an i-Rig? Or just a usb adapter for your ipad to the midi keyboard? Great video btw! Enjoyed every second👌🏽

Logic pro for ipad is pretty cool. To be honest, I feel comfortable using logic pro with mouse and keyboard on MacOS.
Completely understand that! It's a learning curve to say the least lol!
