Hey Man! Just want to shout out to you how happy I am to have stumbled across your channel. I'm an 82 year old, former jazz musician, turned songwriter. I had tried "modernizing" my songwriting a few times before, but dropped it because I would get frustrated. You make the process so interesting (I'm learning more about Logic Pro, especially about using the stock plugins). Thanks so much. I can feel my creative juices flowing again!
I’ve been following you for a year and thank you so much for the tutorial. It has opened up my perspective on how to make music better. I don’t have all my equipment just yet. I did everything you said just for my MacBook alone thank you again.
outstanding again my friend.. I tell you what I learn something every single time watching you bro.. From sounds to things I didn't know Logic can do.. I told ya'll, Logic users, this man is the cheat code.. HANDS DOWN..... Great work again Yaahn..
After using GarageBand for 6 months, i finally broke down and got Logic Pro (and a new laptop, heh). Your video has really opened up the possibilities of this software, thanks so much for posting this video. Just subscribed 🙂
These tutorials are amazing for us logic users thank you! I would love a more in depth dive of the Drum Machine Designer or just the stock plugins for making melodies!
Pleeeease keep making tutorials like this. I'm going to follow along in Logic and practice. I watched your lo-fi video as well and will definitely look into your lo-fi template pack. Thanks for your help!
OMG THANK YOU FOR THIS… I definitely learned something that I was missing for years😩😩❤️❤️ a lifesaver, bro🤗👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🙏 now I feel encouraged 😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I’m such a fan of your music…. And thank you for doing music with Jmoss .. 😩😩 another musical beast 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you for making these videos and uploading your knowledge bud, I'll be honest I have no knowledge in music production, all I know is I've always been interested and have a deep love for House and Garage music and have had Technics 1210s so I understand the principles of music from the DJ mixing perspective but that's about it . I'm seriously thinking about taking the plunge as I've always been the goto person in my circle of friends for music as I do have an ear for a good tune, I was part of the raving scene in the UK during the 90s which I believe was the best era for House and Garage in the UK although the amount of producers going back to that 90s flavours is increasing. I've always had music swirling around my head but never had the knowledge to do anything with it. I can't read or write music and do not play any instruments which I'm presuming is going to be a bit of a hindrance but I guess this is the same as most things in life, the more you practice, the easier it gets but I'm under no illusions that I've got a long and probably a bit of an expensive road ahead. Looks like I'll be investing in a mac first though lol. Thanks again for taking the time to share your knowledge mate. Enjoy the rest of your week bud.
Question: At timemark 5:52 when you select the Droplet Harp sound, I can follow you all the way to that step, but when I reach this point, I don't have Droplet Harp. In fact, I only have 2 presets. -- How or where do I get access to the droplet harp sound you used in this video?? Is there a pack I can easily download or did you find this outside of Logic Pro? Thanks for any help you can provide
Mate, I'm new to Logic and new to your channel. I thought I'd note down everything useful in the clip... I didn't stop typing!! (and rewinding to catch up!). Thank you for the content, really useful 👍
I am a completer beginner with no music theory background but an ear and a love for music. I like the way you explained how to use the controls to my advantage. Do you teach logic at all?
Glad you were able to get value! I sure do! Here's my thorough masterclass on Everything Logic Pro 👉🏾 yhuntermusic.com/products/logic-pro-11-masterclass-yaahn-hunter-jr
🔥🔥🔥 Man I appreciate you bro I just started going to Full Sail University and they gave me logics 😅 I been making beats in FL Studio seems like forever. But Ive been wanting to make beats in Logic since I got it but I was lost but now I’m found!!! Thanks!!! 🤣🤣🔥🔥
Bro i loved your video just came too your video by looking up logic for beginners i need more videos like this bro and i would love a video on teaching basic rnb chords and lead chords
this isn't for beginners this is more for intermediate people, like i dunno how to make those cords or how to make the base fit in, like i can make the melody and stuff like that but the rest just starts to get more complicated. But i still liked the video bc at least it told me how to do certain things
I can see your perspective for sure! My "Vibes Midi Pack" yhuntermusic.com/collections/yhuntermusic-sound-libraries/products/vibes-midi-pack-vol-1 includes all of these chords and more. You can also check out Arcade too output.pxf.io/c/3239825/1182907/14439 These tools will help you for sure!
Keep your Login open and follow everything he’s doing step by step. You’re not going to just figure out music theory on your own. That’s your duty as a musician and artist.
I really enjoyed this tutorial. It’s my first ever tutorial as have taught myself so far. I have so much to learn and although I had to go slowly, I managed to do all the steps until I got to the last bit where I just couldn’t get the other menu to come back at point 9.53…I tried everything but couldn’t get the auxiliary thingy up with the instruments. So frustrating as I got the beats, melody, dynamics and chords so thank you. I will have to practice these steps again anyway so I don’t forget. I’m used to doing thing very differently and don’t know the short cuts so I find alternative ways but I’ve never created a beat from scratch. You’re a very good teacher but can you always say and show what to click on when coming out of something/moving onto the next step..you did with most things 😊😊😊Thanks again! Great content ❤
Hello sir I just have 1 question please I hope you can answer me, do you just connect the midi keyboard straight to a macbook or do i still need audio interface? Or is my macbook pro m3, logic pro and midi keyboard enough to make a high quality music? Please let me know sir thanks

One change in the UI menu is for "Separate Note by Pitch", they now seem to have hid that under a sub-menu of "Convert".
