Didn't think I'd see this happen anytime soon. But, I'm glad to see it. I'd almost do it just to see if it could replace my everyday phone. Good video, thanks!
Great video Jeffrey, looking forward for the review, keep up the great work!
I am just so excited about this and what it could mean for the future of eink phones. I do believe that this is going to be the best way to organically minimize the amount of streaming and scrolling as well organically encouraging more reading. I love it!!!
🙋♂Hi Jeffrey! I will wait for reviews on this device to see about phone network connectivity, battery life and overall performance before I "Take the plunge" into this type of device. Thank you for your insight.👍 Kudos from NYC.🗽
Do u have any idea about the release date for the wave 2? I was about to pull the trigger but if i can get a better smartphone like version i can wait if it comes before the end of the year
Just Q4, nothing much beyond that.
I hear Boox is planning on releasing a phone at the end of the year, if so it will probably be better than Bigme.
The K+ screen on the HiBreak is very disappointing, I have the Hisense A7 CC and the difference in color resolution between it and the Boox Tab Mini C or Bigme Inknote Color+ is massive IMO.
I was pretty excited for this device and nearly bought it. But the fact that they were not upfront about which screen tech (K1/K2/K+) they use really puts me off. It’s like the Daylight Computer. These kinds of marketing practices speaks volume of the companies, in my opinion. Shows the lack of confidence in their products.
That was an odd omission. They give a ton of detail about the other specs, so it is notable that the screen tech isn't discussed. I'm not worried, myself, but you raise a good point.
I tried the Hisense a5 pro cc with mint mobile and it was terrible.
A7 CC also does not work in the US. It has the same bands as the hibreak. Sad😢.
I know a lot of people are asking for cellular connectivity on these devices but I really like them to be just WIFI.
I love this form factor, and I really don't need the cellular connectivity. I want to see more "wifi only" devices.
