Ey man! I'm having a really hard time with what I wanna do regarding shortcuts... I wanna integrate two things to a "long press - short press" type thing. I want Filter and Crossfader in one, mapped to keys that can be held down as apposed to having to be tapped. I've found that one of them has to be reversed though, or inverted since otherwise it introduces low frequency instead of high upon initiation. I've been trying to map this all to the "custom set" knob but the knob starts doing some really weird shit, like flipping to opposite side when attempting to click and drag (param_invert) and also the mouse scrolling stops working to. I appreciate what they did making the language so simple but I recon they've made it a bit to simple. =D Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Well you helped me alot with the v7 but manly some of the basic commands in vdj 8 bc the info online is page after page and it gets to a point that no one ( even me a working dj) wants to read it.
Echo Papa also I was seeing adding to the video of the 2 v7's what is one of the best mixers that can hook up to vdj with the v7 bc I don't want to spend 2000 dollars for a mixer. Anything like the beringer mm1 or numark m6. I would like to have control over vdj on the mixer. BTW you are awesome

jlivin84 It varies, it depends on how much you want to spend. I use a Numark M4 for scratching. It's not an amazing mixer, but it gets the job done.
