milky216 I think it's important for all programs to be represented. I've been a faithful VDJ user for over 10 years. I think there is a lot of misconceptions about the program so I'm trying to change this one video at a time. 🙂Hopefully more videos to come.
Yeah I like VDJ too, because it gives you everything that you need, on the other side VDJ is not club standard so I advise ppl to learn Recordbox Or Serato instead, I think VDJ is a great piece of software for home use

So I have my DDJSX2 with VDJ but I am trying to get the Effects played per Deck. The system will only let me start sample 1 -8 on Deck 1 only. If I activate sample button on deck 2 I cannot get sample 1 - 8. Instead I am getting sample 9 - 16. Can anyone help me out here?

Hi Rachel, I find it difficult to set the blocks (red & blue) together for the good mixing. And I have the same controller as you, a Denon MCX 8000.

How can I record my mic vocals/ shout outside etc.
Using a
Ddj400 controller and usb mixer
You'd need to record the output of the mixer using a computer recording app, like Quicktime on a Mac, or Audacity on pretty much anything.

You'd just need to find the sample and add it, Splice is great for samples

Splice is where I get my samples, or just google the sound effect you want and you'll likely find a source
