I have the same one 🙂 I was thinking about upgrading the steering wheel to LCI three spoke, but that seems too complicated so it is the only thing that I don't like on the car. Other than that I would not trade it even for a new one. Best car ever
@@carswithnillthere is a truth in that, and I like the one with part wood, but it Is too big feels like truck driving in my experience which is why I will see to update it in the future :)

Nice video. I had an 97 5201 E39 a long time ago. Nice to see again. Have you done something to your exhaust? I can't remember m it was so noisy
Basically stock, with only the exhaust tailpipe modified.

I ve heard that facelift engines eat less oil than the pre-facelift ones though. But correct me if i am wrong ;)
so e39 is for highways and e46 is for sharp roads and smallers

It is pre-facelift, which means its 150hp,facelift (2000-2004) has 170hp and more torque. ;)

Actually you can tell the difference if you know both engines. M54 sounds actually a bit more 'mighty'
