    Totally worth it. I used solid vaseline and then liquid vaseline with a tiny brush and came out perfect. I removed excess and its a lot faster, smoother and quieter. Not quiet, but quieter.

      Hey, Ismael Cerda. Vaseline is a petroleum jelly and can degrade plastics. I definitely suggest white lithium grease instead of Vaseline.

      @@freshcustomsYT I've read about that, but I use Vaseline in plastics and everything for years, Idk if its because its Dental Vaseline or what. But I like the way it went.

      Vaseline can damage plastic Petroleum jelly can attack hydrocarbon plastics but cannot dissolve them immediately so in a few months ull have forgotten all about it then crack all the gears have been crushed

    Hi! I suddenly noticed the wheel getting too stiff and loud, like I can hear and feel the teeth of the gears.... the wheels offers a lot of resistance and the motor has a hard time moving it. Could this be a solution? I just checked the inside but I couldn't figure out which part is causing the problem.
    Thanks and sorry if the question is out of topic!

    • @freshcustomsYT
      @freshcustomsYT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there Martin, could be a number of things causing the issue. I got a similar question recently. You can definitely try and see if it does make a difference it wouldn't hurt to try. Could be the Motor? maybe starting to seize? could be the bearing? you could also try greasing up the bearing. All the best with solving the problem.

  • @Kekmit
    @Kekmit 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I used a silicone lubricant for speedcubers, there's very little resistance compare to before. And it's also 100% safe for plastic, since rubiks cubes are plastic.

    • @freshcustomsYT
      @freshcustomsYT  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @Kekmit Hi there, as long as the silicone you use is compatible with Plastic Gearing. I dont see an issue indeed. Just do a little research to see if it's compatible with plastic gearing. And you obviously want longer use as well... you wouldn't want to be opening the wheel yearly to clean and Re-Coat. You also dont want silicone to get onto the electronic components. So just do a little research first, yes.

    Static! The big myth plaguing the electrical world like a gimmick!
    In my 20 years as an electrician working on everything from cars to semi trucks to household wiring to cell towers to building & fixing circuit boards from pc, playstation, tv, stereos, headphones, basically everything you could shove a current through and I've never damaged anything with static! Nor have i heard of anyone I've worked with causing damage due to static!
    It's like people that say practicing driving a manual in a turned off car is damaging the clutch lmao!!

    • @freshcustomsYT
      @freshcustomsYT  ปีที่แล้ว

      The thing is this... We all release/build up different amounts of static electricity.... also depending on our environments, clothing, etc. Rather safe than sorry. Question.... Out of the entire video, you just feel the need to comment on my static safety warning? Look, you are welcome to do things your way, my friend. to each his own. From my experience in IT for many years too... I've seen many motherboards damaged because of static build-up... it's all about the situation. So my point is... You do you... the main thing to take away is the fact that the video is reaching many people in many different situations and surroundings... and once again, as I said... Rather safe than sorry.

      The Logitech Driving Force GT is from 2008 meanwhile the Thrustmaster TX RW is from 2015. Also, there's a difference in FFB systems. The DFGT (Driving Force GT) is driven by straight cut gears, which is where the majority of the noise comes from. The Thrustmaster uses a belt drive system. The point of this is to avoid buying a new wheel, some people don't have the money or can't update due to game support. The DFGT works on the PS2, PS3, and PC. The Thrustmaster you are limited to Xbox One and PC (well now Xbox Series X as well, but that came later). Going back to money, the DFGT is MUCH cheaper than the TX RW. I'm about to purchase one for $13, can't get anywhere near that with a TX RW unless its completely nonfunctional.
