me and my family has suffered for more than 8 years in court trials, police heckling over fake allegations by a close relative...a lot of time police personnel told us that everybody knows that we have not done anything..yet those years have been traumatizing because police can very easily redirect anything to anyone which is done against them...
i am glad for this info but being someone who has experienced it in the worst form can say that nothing works in the country for everyone..
I have faced same and have been told clearly by IG of my state:"This will become YOUR LIFE'S project". I also have evidence that he said that. But where and whom can I even go to with it when all one has to do is pay people to get away, be it judge, PCA or CM.

Such things should be taught at school level.Unfortunately ,schools pay less attention to such things.And the lack of awareness about such things among people, especially in the rural areas is really frustrating.
All in all, the judicial system in india is designed in such a way that, hardcore criminals use these points to evade punishment, and judiciary utilizes these points to harass the victim or innocent(who has to proove his or her innocence)

Knowing laws does not help either. For one year, Uttrakhand police did not register my FIR. I had to go to SSP, DGP and court with 156(3). Even then, police did not register it. After one year, after all the evidence were destroyed by accused, they finally registered FIR, but intentionally skipped the main sections. Now it has been 6 months, nothing has been done and nothing will be ever done only because the FIR against a serving Indian Army officer. If the accused has power and position, no amount of law can give you justice. Just look at the Ruchika Girhotra case.
When system itself is corrupt from police to government to Judiciary, common man will never find justice.

@@NishantCosmos There is no peace in revenge. I tried for justice but after knowing the true nature of our system, it was better to back out and stay away from such corrupt people. Evidence is already submitted so my job is done. If system wants to protect criminal, it is not on me.

It's really a long process, although it's justify the time but it not justifying people involved in the case for this long. This's need to change and updated. People literally losing their entire life and career because of this. This's a big issue and that's why most choose to avoid it even if something wrong happened to them. This thing also discouraging people to stand against wrongful things. This is necessary to change or updated and fast.
Everyone knew we weren't wrong, but some people traumatized and are still traumatizing us. It's been 7 years. We are just waiting for our lives to settle first.

There aren't enough laws against police. It is because the laws are inherited from the British rule, and not enough changes are made thereafter. Overall, practically, accountability of police is lower than the victim! Crime by police are very high but how many are really registered and get prisoned compared to other citizens? I'd like to share an incident. DU students were protesting CRL for OBE. I went CRL to study. However there was curiosity to see what was happening outside so I went. I sat nearby. Suddenly the cops rushed towards the protesting students. Students began to run expect me who learnt not to run if you are not responsible. I refused to learn. Suddenly a constable came towards me and rudely asked me to leave. I refused. He called his superior. I refused again. Due to which altercation between me and the superior happened. He took me outside and threatened me to send me to jail. Knowing my rights and a bit of law I didn't object and went with him. Later they made me sit outside and asked me to calm down and then asked me to leave from behind however I refused. I told them I'll only go inside and that too from front gate and I it's a crime arrest me. They could do nothing when I walked inside shearing the crowd of police. Don't be afraid when you have done no wrong. They are for you only.

@Nitish Could you please also cover in next videos around the topic of how the resource planning and distribution goes around in cities in India. For example growing metro cities are going to attract people and to support them, basic resources like water will be needed, so what is the process behind it, what bodies manage these resources, arrange them need be, based on what process? How can common people participate? What are their rights? I have a friend who is working in a startup for city planning in Bangalore called sensinglocal since it's inception seven years back. According to him resource planning, city planning is fearly new. In India we do not really do smart city or planned city based on geo sensing and highly advanced scientific methods for sustainable future. So based on a talk with this guy I got to know a lot about the smart work they are doing in Bangalore which helped spot and curb corruption effectively, he also told the whole system what bodies decide what resoirces and from where and the rights I was previously unaware of. There is an urgent need to teach this knowledge in schools so we empower the childern to build better future for oversleves.Thanks!
