Best test of a CE04. Realy all day commuting, for this it makes sense.
Thanks :)
Just purchased mine last Tuesday. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s a wonderful driving Machine.
oh great :) have fun and ride safe ;)
😀Great Job on the Video Bro, Yeah I cant get over how quick that Bike is off the mark on Dynamic Mode. Good stuff Cheers Paul🍻🍻
Thanks Bro 😊 I had to reupload it because it had a little "mistake" 😅
That is remarkable but correct me if I’m wrong. You did all the time trip in the eco mode wasn’t it?
Thanks 👍🏻
no, not all the time of this range test. sometimes I switched to Dynamic mode for fast accelerations at traffic lights :) but I would say 90 percent of this test was in Eco mode.
Thank you for the straightforward real world testing. Beautiful towns. What kind of gloves are you wearing in this video?
Thanks 😊
These are the Held Phantom gloves
My mom is from Pfaffenhoffen. I had a job over there. Just purchased my CE04 2 weeks ago.
oh nice :) have fun and ride safe ;)
Whatever you do, DON'T test drive this BMW CE 04 or you will end up buying it. I did and I will never regret it.
Ok 😅
Great to hear. How much was it out the door?
I test drove the C Evolution and i love it and it doesnt leave my mind. Sadly the ce04 doesnt really target scooter riders with the uncomfortable beer bench seat and bad weather protection. If they have a bit more range and better weather protection (maybe dc fast charging) i will totally get one. I dont mind if its 270kg like the burgman 650 then.
@@RussellHogan look on the website its around 12.000€ without any options. But the quick charge is a must that costs 900€
@@K0nst4nt1n96 Sounds good!!!
Great video man. Thank you for your effort to inform people. I watched it because there is one for sale here at 11k euro with just 180km on the clock. Brand new. I was wondering why the guy is selling it. Now I can understand why. 130km of range is plain nothing for something that costs 14k new. To give you a hint, I have mounted 5 batteries on my CPX and the range is more than 250km at 60km/h and I still don't think it is enough for me to ride as much as I want. I wonder if we can hack the BMW in order to mount more batteries on it.....
thanks :) of course, some more range would be nice. But for an urban scooter it's okay I would say.
Always supporting bro👍
Thanks 😊
Great vid.
Thanks 😊
Hay, can u tell me which place do u live in Germany, it looks super cool, can u?
I live near Munich :)
@@mototop_ okay thanks👍👍
Well done!
Thanks 😊
Run-in; warmed up: do you have to with an electric bike?
Excellent, real-world range test. Decent range. All you need with a scooter, really.
I wonder how many years a battery lasts with normal use, say 5,000 km per year. They won't be cheap. Regards, Nick
no, of course with an electric engine you don't need run-in perioud and a warm up
Quick answer. He did 123km from full and had 8% battery left.
right
Great!
Thanks 😊
Great video ? Is it the comfort seat 1 or 2 (with the extra 50mm length) ? How tall are you ?
Good question....I'm waiting for answer too.
Sorry, I don't know what kind of seat was installed. It doesn’t really matter for my tests 😅 I'm 172cm
I think i't could be a confort seat 2.
It's not the comfort-seat. The comfort-seat is thicker, higher, and only availabie in black/grey, not in black/orange.
@@Romiman1 That's true thanks, I bought it with the comfort seat , because I was interested in the heated one and I didn't notice that it was grey lol. I'm waiting for the delivery.
Sind die 130km mit der offenen oder kastrierten Version des CE 04?
Mit der offenen Version
Is it possible to ride it with a passenger? I mean comfortably.
sorry, I haven't tested with passenger
Hola! 😋 Can we say that driving in a motorway at 80km/h speed, we spend 10kWh/100km?😅
oh sorry, I don't know exactly whats the consumption at 80km/h
i like it...
Yep, makes fun 😎
So, if you are satisfied with restricting the performance to that of a 125cc petrol bike you can travel 80miles. Big deal.
The range depends on the riding style and profile. Going on a highay it doesn't lasts long. But cruising in a city the range can me more than 130km.
@@mototop_ …..which is 80 miles at city speeds. There are several rivals that can do that for a fraction of the cost. This bike makes no sense.
There is no ENGINE brake, it has an electric MOTOR and regenerates power on slowing. (engines are gas operated)
Sorry, I'm no native 😉
Yeeehaw!
you like it? :)
@@mototop_ I do just can’t afford it
@@RM-we7px yep, It's not the cheapest one :D but maybe you can do a test ride
80 miles is not bad
yep, for an urban scooter :)
I drove it at the dealer..the ride was fine but the battery is way too small...the range on this scooter is unacceptable! Don't buy it
It just depends on your personal preferences. If you just use it in city or for short distances it might be okay
There’s no engine warm up 🙄
Yep, you don't need to 😊
80 miles is not enough!
depends on your demand
