    Thank you for nailing it describing how the naysayers are not the target market. I have owned a CE 04 for 2 years. The price wasn’t a major consideration for me. I am also not even a commuter and I have a top end ADV bike that I’ve ridden month long trips on. The CE 04 is just absolutely the most fun on two wheels I’ve ever had. It looks awesome, sounds awesome, pulls hard off the line, has a cavernous storage area hidden in the body. It’s just really fun and interesting. I enjoy finding chargers and planning routes that require me to find new places to stop and I have had countless adventures and conversations because of it I’d never have on a typical scooter or motorcycle. It’s so much more than the spec sheet that can only be appreciated by living with one awhile. And it simply… isn’t for everyone. Never was and never will be. But it definitely is for me and a cadre of others.

    I have one, light white and man it’s the best motorcycle i have owned. It has it’s downside but works for me everyday and my wife loves it riding passenger, no heat and no jerking 🦄🦄🦄🦄

      The same to me. After 11 ICE-bikes (50-1000ccm; 2.4-100hp) I have more fun to drive than ever before...

    You are 1000% dead on. I stopped counting how many motorcycles I own. Not have owned, but currently own. I have more motorcycles than there are days in a month. The gambit. Without question, my CE04 is my favorite bike. Nothing even comes close. It’s outrageously expensive but every once in a while, you get what you pay for. This thing is outrageously stupid fun to ride! It’s an amusement park on two wheels. Trust me.

    The bike is downright awesome. Love the experience after around 3000 miles on it in GA. After so much positive attention everywhere, I have been thinking about handing out brochures at red traffic lights. So many people are curiously asking me.

    Hello, I’ve owned my CE04 for about 18 months. Im have about 7,000 miles and live along the coast in Carlsbad Ca. Two weekend ago i left with 72 miles on the bike, i came back with 46 miles. I put it on my home charger at 10amp and it only charged to 60 miles. I thought that a bit strange. 60 miles at that point was now 100%. I took the bike out for a few miles and came back at 56 miles. I put it back on the charger and it will not charge. 56 miles it says is 100%. I contacted BMW dealer near me in Escondido Ca. They really had no answer yet without seeing the bike. I had it towed this week so I’ll hopefully hear what the issue will be. If by chance you might know what the problem may be please Feel free to chime in. It seems that it will no charge no matter what the mileage may be. At 56 miles it’s says 100%….so i know there must be something wrong.
    Thanks for any help you can provide, as of Saturday 12/28/2024 they are not sure why it will not charge beyond its listed mileage….
    Thank you

    12:24 It hasn't wireless charging. It has an USB-C outlet for charging and the charging bay is cooled by a fan. The connection of the phone to the screen is wireless.
    21:51 Absolutely! The CE 04 actually is the one and only electric scooter above the 125cc-class which you can buy new. Worldwide! If You prefer cheap and small scooters, you still have a wide survey.
    There are produced already about 9000 pcs, just after less than 2 years. (The french love it...)

    I have the gray one. Use it everyday. Almost never have to go to a public charger. Current mileage 18.000km (11.185 miles) The perfect everyday commuter

    It's cool. I do wish the range was a bit better. But, as someone who uses an ebike and a hinda navi for my work commutes in a large downtown city, I can appreciate it. Fast charging options here are great, hopefully the power grid gets upgraded as well. For 16k, I'd probably grab something else. But I enjoy idea of the CE 04

    I'm really surprised Honda and Yamaha is avoiding this market or just really slow at it. I applaud BMW for taking a step forward.

    That v10f will be perpetually more cost effective. That bike looks so much fun though!!

    Can't wait for Honda to offer decent Electric bikes! Kawasakis first offerings aren't good enough.

    Genuinely curious... is it actually legal to drive right up between vehicles stopped at a red light, on the center line? Seems odd because you are considered another vehicle on the road, so do you not have to follow the typical "rules of the road" in California?

    • @ziptic
      @ziptic ปีที่แล้ว

      Lane splitting (driving between vehicles) and filtering (waiting between the vehicles stopped at an intersection) is legal in Calif. There are other restrictions such safety issues and speed (can't drive faster than 10mph above the speed those vehicles are doing (at the time I was there)). Anyone planning on splitting, please read the law, don't take my word for it. 👍

    What is inconvenient about going to a petrol/gas station occcasionally as opposed to having to charge an electric bike up every day? I don't see the benefit of quietness, either. Having said all this, I'd like one as a second bike, the first bike being an ICE one.

      my neighbours love my silent motorcycle, also u can listen to music with headphones at low volume with a silent bike and not make yourself deaf. Pushing a plug into a bike is a tad more convenient than going to a petrol station, surely.

    • @1990-t1j
      @1990-t1j 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thesingsings8111 It depends how often you have to charge the machine. Sounds like every day compared to twice a week in the petrol station. That's what it would be for my 155cc scooter which is what I run around on.
      It isn't the engine noise which makes the rider deaf, it's the wind noise.
      The CE 04 is some bike, though.

    So afraid to pull the trigger not due to range anxiety but reliability anxiety. It would make so much since for my lifestyle. But BMW isn’t known for reliability in their ICE vehicles so I can imagine the horror story that would come with this.

      Three warranty though, which is pretty unheard of in the motorcycle world.
