- Israel has vowed to find and kill the alleged mastermind of the October 7th terrorist attack, Hamas leader Yehya Sinwar. He has not been seen in public since the start of the war but Israel believes he is hiding in his home town of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Hamas is classified as a terrorist organization by multiple countries.
“The house of Sinwar is in the area of Khan Younis. You have their terror infrastructure, command centers. Sinwar is not above ground. He is underground. I don’t want to elaborate where and how and what we know in terms of intelligence. This is not the place to talk about such things in the media. Our job is to find Sinwar and kill him.”

Israel is not a Party to the ICC, as the Israeli government does not want an independent organisation to hold the IDF or the government to account.
