There are old documentaries which show people digging tunnels from Gaza to Egypt as early as 2006. So my personal guess is that he escaped through those and is now hiding among the Egyptians.

I think like many on here that he would then most likely move to Rafah and then they will make a ceasefire deal when the IDF is closing in on him so it should be soon. IDF has really taken a lot of ground in a short amount of time.

It is rather obvious he is not in Gaza, neither are the hostages. They must be in rural or border areas in the neighborhood- Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen etc. like Osama and gang did where it is safer and harder to raise suspicions. Within houses in all likelihood, a large group can't manage in tunnels for this long.

I don't think he's in the Gaza Strip anymore. I thought this from the beginning of the war. Yet, many hostages said they saw him in the tunnels where they were held. I don't think Hamas even has the hostages anymore. I believe they're either sold or dead. The girls could've been taken as wives as well. One of the released hostages said - "it didn't come to one of the girls" indicating the girl must be either pregnant or that there is something of. I really hope it is the latter because if it's the former, it means they can be taken as wives based on Islamic laws.
Islamic laws state clearly that captives during wartime are considered slaves.

With as complex as the whole tunnel system is they have the same tunnel system going on across the border in Egypt and that is where the command center and hostages are being held
You may be right, but I certainly hope not. If the IDF finds tunnels leading to Egypt, then the Egyptian government will have to get involved, and dealing with the Egyptians would be an arduous task.

He’s probably very close to the Egyptian border in the most populated neighborhood of Rafah. Very unlikely to be in Khan yunis because the way they’re behaving in the negotiations it means they still have some time before the IDF reaches them and they’re trying to delay it.
