We are just witnessing merging of different schools of basketball now, European and US, which makes sense because the sport is more global now. People will always have those negative knee-jerk reactions, but it is what it is, things change and evolve.

Besides, Europe is all about tactics and discipline of the game, in the USA it's about motor, strength and dunking as often as possible. However, there are as many points for a dunk as for a close-range throw against the backboard.
