Ribs turned out great. While the ribs were in the oven I set the instant pot to sauté. Wanting to make use of the leftover broth. I then added collard greens to the hot broth. Perfect side dish to go with the ribs. 😋👍🏻
@@MrsBridgette2012 I'm convinced you don't know how to make greens, but that's an interesting idea I guess. Greens take a long time to cook though. You can't make good greens in just "a couple minutes."

You the man Rod. Every other video was some huge production with limited direction. You got me ready to go in under 5 mins. I realize this is 4years later, I usually smoke em, but you got me to perfect ribs no sweat.
I just made two extra meaty racks for a party, followed your recipe exactly and everyone loved it! It was so easy! I used salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika for my rub and used about 2 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar with the cup of water in the instant pot. Did only one rack at a time since I only have one appliance but it was still easy since it’s so quick. I’m used to racks of ribs taking 4+ hours, now I can have them whenever I want! I also used the instant pot for corn on the cob to go with the ribs and they came out awesome (programmed it for only 2 minutes on steam setting).
I’m surprised at how many viewers tell you how to put the ribs in the pot! Geeez, people, don’t you think he knows how to arrange everything to his liking. And cleaning 2pots is super easy. They clean up quick & very easy so that’s no problem. If you people are going to instruct on that, then why are you even watching?? Go on to a video that you need for help instead of watching what you already THINK you know all about!! Are you just watching to catch any slip ups ??? Rod is doing a wonderful, informative job & l have faith that he knows what he’s doing. By the way l made ribs exactly how instructed & my family thought they were outstanding & wanted to know if l would make them again the next day. The whole family, including picky grandchildren, just kept raving. I don’t think that has ever happened with so many people at the same meal. Thanks for a great method of making tremendous ribs. I’ve made them several times since with the same results !!! I’m making them again now & the aroma is making me moan. Ooh boy !!😋😋😋😛🤩🤗👍👍😋😋👍👍 l really appreciate the classy music as well. Keep it up with all these great instructions & choice of music. You’re the best !!!
Excellent presentation! Just thought I'd mention another way to finish the ribs: After dressing the cooked ribs with BBQ sauce, I simply broil mine on the middle rack for 4-6 minutes to caramelize. In the oven, I also place parchment paper under the ribs for easier cleanup (which can also make for nice presentation if placed under the ribs in a basket or bowl when serving!). Thanks for your work; quick and to the point and you have an excellent presentation style!
Great recipe, didn't have the insert so made a base out of foil. Tender, fall off the bone perfection! Added some soup beans and water to the drippings, made for excellent seasoning. Thanks! ❤

Steve I received my first one for Christmas, so, last month. Because of all the TH-cam videos that I've watched on cooking with it, I embraced the pot. I LOVE that thing! Be careful with using the quick release feature with large cuts of beef and pork. It can cause them to seize up and become tough. The pot will automatically go into "slow release" mode when the cook time is up. It should take 10 to fifteen minutes to release. Look at the small metal pin on the top of the lid, when it is up, the pot is fully pressurized, when it is down and sits below the surface of your lid, then your pot is fully depressurized and you can safely open it.
Your channel popped up in my feed and I am so glad I watch your video. Very well spoken with no profanity. Thank you. I just might have to buy an instant pot :)
I have let my ribs set for about 10 minutes with the rub on them before placing them in the instant pot. They have come out soooooo good that we didn't even add any sauce. Did notice that you had a slow release for about 15 to 18 minutes.. Great video, great ribs!!!!!.

I make my baby back ribs almost similar to this. I use apple juice instead of water, do a natural release for 15 min, and I put foil on the pan to make clean up easy. These ribs are fantastic and so easy to do using this cooking method.
Love the fact that you both used gloves and rolled meat side in, to keep them from falling apart! Great idea! I can’t even believe how many people do not wash their meat, it’s insane! Meat be everywhere. Also, meat side in (preserved your rub)!
You right. Washing meat isn't necessary before you cook it because the natural bacteria is cooked out of the meat at the correct temperatures. It is an old habit.
I made these for some friends and they loved them! Thanks a lot! #notallheroeswearcapes I think my favorite part of the video was the music! Haha great video
Thanks bro! I watched a couple other videos and they had no Rub and used a lot more liquid! I also noticed that you used the basket! Hay you got a new subscriber in me
Do you do the natural pressure release at the end (ie let the pressure cool for about 10 minutes) or do you do the quick release method where you vent immediately after the hi pressure cook?

+J J thank you. Looking forward to more creations.
Finally tried this w/4 lb ribs..had to cook a tad longer. but came out Fine..Thank you for your recipe
Excellent. So good to hear. Thank you
Great video! Straighforward! Music is not distracting.
After watching this awesome review I subscribed! Great job sir!

You are quite welcome. Thank you for watching.
Do you do the natural pressure release at the end (ie let the pressure cool for about 10 minutes) or do you do the quick release method where you vent immediately after the hi pressure cook?
Paul Tansill I normally allow it to naturally release.
