    Spain is a great place to live. If you are looking to relocate to a beautiful and affordable country within Europe, Spain is a great option.
    There are many cities you can opt for such as Malaga, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Cordoba, Sevilla ... and many more. You can also choose a cute "pueblo blanco" in the mountains. Then there are all of Spain's many islands as well.
    In this video, I make 7 arguments for why you should choose Spain.

    It will never cease to amaze me how foreign move to another country where their language is not spoken but are surprised that people don't speak to them in their language.
    It's like they expect countries to adapt to them, and consider it negative that they don't.
    Live in Spain, let's talk in Spanish. There should be little surprise here. If I go to a hospital in Germany I am not going to expect the doctor to speak Spanish to me. They will speak to me in German.

    • @FriiInfo

    Welcome back! You hit on all the important points. Assuming WW3 hasn't broken out I'm planning to move to Malaga next year. Since you asked for ideas for future videos I'll offer you one idea ...assuming you have Spanish friends or coworkers that you can interview, it would be interesting to hear what is their opinion of foreigners moving to Spain. Hopefully they aren't sick and tired of us! Cheers.

    As for ideas for videos :
    I would love to see a supermarket video in Malaga (that's where you are, right?)
    Like, prices of normal stuff, and just generally what brands are there.
    Also if there are some interesting fresh markets, or flea markets.
    Just- everyday boring stuff

      When you go shopping you can go to Aldi or Lidl, they have great prices. You dont need to buy Brands , Aldi or Lidl has high quality own Brands and they are cheaper then the Original Brands. Has many videos shopping by Aldi or Lidl in Spain.

    Safety: many pickpockets all over the country. If you are away from your house or condo for a longer time, you can find it occupied from strangers when you are back and it´s very difficult to kick them out.

    • @FriiInfo
      @FriiInfo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pickpockets - sure, but I think that is a problem in most cities in Europe. But yes, squatters are a problem, but I think they changed the legislation recently making it easier to kick people out?

    I bought a log house from 1899 in South-Western Finland for 19000. I checked house prices near the coast cities of Picos de Europa which where 30000€ in worse condition, looked like they had only unpainted rugged tiles and single layer windows and they were located in non-gated communities. There apparently is a problem about safety

    • @FriiInfo
      @FriiInfo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think it is difficult to compare Finland and Spain.
      I wouldn't say there is a problem with safety in Spain, although that is always a relative topic.

    Portugal or Spain? Which country would be better to start a self-employed business? I'm EU citizen

    • @FriiInfo
      @FriiInfo  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is my understanding that Portugal is less harsh on the self-employed compared to Spain. But it could depend on your particular business model and income structure. In some cases in Spain, you can save income tax by starting a limited company compared to being self-employed "autonomo".

      Hi Marvin, I am from Barcelona. In Spain in terms of crimes like murders, rapes is very low. However, Barcelona is huge with pickpockets. People who commit these crimes are not Spaniards and I can spot them easily. So, it never happenned to me. But being a tourist, you are definitely a target 🎯 from them. What to do ? Never have your bags open and behind you. Always be in observing mode when in areas like the Ramblas. In normal and posh areas like Sarria, tibidabo, sant Gervasi and a lot more, you are truly safe. When they steal from you these people who are migrants from non European countries, they use a lot of tricks, but normally not hit you or cut you with a knife. Barcelona is so beautiful so it is worthy to visit anyways!

      Yes! Absolutely agree. I think there is this idea that languages are great for building a career, and although that isn't not true and can open some doors, it first and foremost opens the door to a lot of low paid service jobs.

    WHY SHOULD SPANISH PEOPLE LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH, IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY ? IF PEOPLE GO TO LIVE IN, ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, THEN THEY SHOULD LEARN TO SPEAK, THE LANGUAGE OF THAT COUNTRY AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. IF ANYONE GOES TO AMERICA, THEY WILL HAVE TO SPEAK ENGLISH. NO AMERICANS WILL BE SPEAKING THEIR LANGUAGE. I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT AND IT'S THE SAME IN THE UK AND AUSTRALIA.
