I kinda wished they would've modeled more bosses like the Belyash, Hedgie and Dewdrop... they seemed like the most variably in their combat, keeping you on your toes throughout the combat. Albeit, Belyash likely needed a few more ranged attacks.

Since I've played the game on Brazilian Portuguese, I couldn't be harmed by the voice acting (in PT-BR, the voice acting is nothing but amazing, done by the very same voice actor who dubs Starlord from the Marvel movies). The optimization is great for a debug game of this magnitude, you have to give props to the team for that. The art direction is astonishing and the gameplay variety, even if it doesn't reach its maximum potential, it has a lot to offer. For me the open world was their biggest problem. It's overwhelmed by enemies and a poor stealth system, and I recognize that. Atomic Heart shines when it is inside the facilities, with the crowd of enemies controlled and the objectives more focused. I don't hate the game. I actually really liked it and it's a shame that you didn't have the very same experience as me, but great video!
I played Atomic Heart around four days ago and spent three days beating it. I had no clue about the lore and felt like a fool. Turns out, I accidentally played on Armageddon mode, thinking I was just bad. Surprisingly, the more I played, the better I got, and I ended up beating the game on my first try on Armageddon. Each boss, including the twins, felt surprisingly easy. Atomic Heart, being the developers' first game, blew me away. It's awesome, but I get that not everyone recognizes what makes a game good. It's cool to figure things out, but some areas lacked clear explanations. Still, the game was overall amazing.
Well to be honest.....on local failure difficulty I had fun and the story had it's surprises but dialogue on English is a pain to hear but on other languages it's ok I guess but the boss fights were....just too good. The twins being the hardest but fair once you know what your doing and I used the fat boy mostly against certain enemy groups who were coming in numbers and the buzzsaw weapon is perfectly for clearing mutiple enemies and I think the storage and management of resources and creating using those resources seemed perfect and it was fun managing what I need to take and what I shoudn't and mixing my weapons to use against certain enemy types was neat eventhough there are not too many of them in variety and the alternate history universes are something I like a lot whether it's from books and games or movies or shows and this one was also good in that alternate history category somewhat but gameplay has its flaws but not too flawed to the point it's unplayable and it's UNIQUE unlike other AAA games who don't put efforts in innovating or keep to certain trends so overall.....I liked the game. Also the soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon & Geoffsplayguitar was just dope. My boss rank: 8: Laser lab tech; Standard enemy you fight in the over world and only laser attacks being unique. Nothing much. Defeat them with guns or melee or polymer. 7. Plyush & the mutants: Their refreshing to see in atomic heart when you mostly deal with robots but melee is ok against plyush exclusively otherwise the other mutants are taken out with melee or guns. Highly use buzzsaw weapon. 6. Natasha: It's a really great fight but if you use polymer shield you can block the rockets and dodge the melee pretty easily but fat boy can melt her health very quickly as I've seen in other videos but my first fight was guns and melee and using polymer shield for projectile blocking and nothing much else but it's a well animated fight but it's simplicity can make it easy to beat and there is another variant in a dungeon you can fight but has back up with her in those flying drone things...but that was much easier given I had more room to move. 5. MA 9: The first fight is great and the variants in the over world can be a hassle when they come in duos or other robot variants with them but fat boy does help with it. Ma-9 is fast but a crazy enjoyable fight to do any it's design is great and I had a blast with it but in other videos fat boy can still destroy it which might be applicable to all robot bosses but my fight was mostly guns and using the telekinetec ground slam & electric polymer ability with the buzzsaw weapon but it's a fair and difficulty boss. 4. Dewdrop: Love the fight but the laser is pretty easy to dodge if you know what your doing with it's melee only being a threat if it decides to go up close and personal especially in its second phase with its polymer tendrils but it's adds more danger since he can trap you between those tendrils and fire the laser which was manageable for me and I even used the polymer to block it if it ever was needed and it worked. Great boss but manageable if you know what your doing. 3. Left: The story behind the twins was a surprise to hear about but her ballerina fighting style and using melee and range and mixing them up to keep you guessing which overall was fun but it is a speedy boss which can be a bit difficult to get hits in with both melee & guns but electric and telekinetec polymer can mitigate her somewhat but it was a great fight. 2. Hedgie: Most enjoyable and unique first full fledge boss fight and it's attacks are just perfect in my opinion and the soundtrack is a banger to listen to and it's speed is just right and the power core weakness is a neat weakspot and satisfying to hit...but the reason I put 2 is because once you hit the cores his health does take a lot of damage and if your really patient and stock yourself well he can be managed pretty easily along with using the towers you can summon in the arena to take it down easily but I had no clue about that and beat it with gun & melee. A dope first boss in the game. 1.The twins: I like gank bosses and this one was the most and crazy intense one I ever had done in a long time since Ornstein & Smough because other games never got it right by making it either simple or not balancing it right except for hrist & mist that fight was dope so when I got to the twins being well stocked and upgraded well my god ! I had a banger of a fight. The story implications to them, the range & melee they dish out are great to deal with and dodge and seeing them do the laser disco dance move was just dope and well animated and if you stick to the center & move along with the lasers rhythm you can be untouchable by it and when I beat them....man it felt great. The only gripe this fight has is maybe not knowing what the other twin is doing since this is a first person shooter and not third person so you can't see both at the same time but it never bother me too much and the fat boy cheese is a thing so that as well is an issue. Overall a great final fight. In the end I enjoyed the game and I can see they really had passion in making it unlike what other games are doing these days....chase trends, sticking to a same formula in terms of gameplay, money greed and lack of innovating them to a certain degree. Sure this game isn't perfect and does use elements in games we love like BioShock for example....but it mixes it in a way that makes it stand out eventhough it is flawed and hey it is there first game so flaws are bound to exist but we learn from them and make something better in return. This game is not for everyone and may it not click to all and may not be fun...but when it does do those things.........boy is it worth it :)
The story ended horribly? Yet Charles did little to hide the fact that he was at odds with Sechenov and had been Polymerized at some point. The ending was hinted at and made sense. Also there's a larger conflict to be had in the world so it was obvious some part 2 was going to be set up. What's going on in this video?

The dialogue is much more tolerable if you play Russian audio with English subs. Feels immersive. Maybe the Russian Dialogue is terrible as well, but being that I don't speak a word of the language, I wouldn't know! Just a pro-tip.
If I played this game while skipping the cutscenes and maybe listening to a podcast I think it could possibly be an enjoyable time. The dialogue is truly terrible at least in a game like Borderlands you know the dialogue will be bad but having expectations for a good or even great story game makes it a lot more disappointing. Happy that I got this through gamepass and didn't pay for it
The dialogue feels so cartoony and stupid. The main character is supposed to be a badass action hero, but he's constantly arguing with his stupid hand and saying the dumbest shit imaginable
The twins were my favourite boss personally the pure blood-pumping action was exhilarating. I was able to keep up with them fine on the medium difficulty, although barely, so could you be mad cuz bad? I have to agree that the game was pretty disappointing overall though.
