- I started out plowing with my Minneapolis Moline G1050 LP. But I found an issue with it. Ending up finishing with my G950 heritage diesel.

Wetness has been a common theme here in the East this spring. You did a good job plowing and the MM sounded great.
Dan good job on the sod . don't feel bad sod always has a suprise for all the years of plowing for us in the day. Thanks for bring us along.
I use to plow with my exstepdads G900 when I was a kid. I liked coming up to the end of the field& pulling the Ampli-Torque lever back & let that engine run full rpm. Lift the plow& turn around. Then drop the plow & throw that ampli torque lever ahead& let her bark.
Thanks for sharing your story with us. 😊
Great it see those Molines plowing. They sound great. Sorry for your problems but I know that you will get everything fixed up just fine. Enjoyable video Dan. Thanks
Always something, content content content. 👍🏻
Love your videos! New subscriber here from Ludington mi 👉🏻✋🏻
Welcome aboard. My mother in law grew up south of Custer. They still own 80 acres there.
@@molinedan wow small world!! I actually live in Custer but say Ludington. I’m just a mile north of 10 on custer 👍🏻
Dron shot of this would be cool. Love the smell of fresh turned earth.
We've got wet patches in the fields still this year Dan but it's dried up enough this last week or so to finally get some land plowed and planted. That red, white and blue G950 sure sounds great when it's pulling 6 bottoms. 👍 Do the 50 series tractors without the bubble nose have a smaller hydraulic oil tank or is the tank located somewhere else on the tractor? Propane most efficient power there is and clean. Neighbor had a UB propane smoothest running tractot i ever heard oil never got black always stayed clean as day it was put in.
right on! Not to mention that the plugs never get black and the cylinder walls never wear out because there is no longer any wet fuel to wash the oil off the upper walls.
And to top it all off, the crops flourish behind propane tractors propane because the products of combustion are literally, plant food . . . Carbon Dioxide and water vapor.
But the world is so brainwashed they even think that propane pollutes !
First the phony crisis was CO2 and Global warming. . . than as the public starts catching on to the fact that is is NOT warming and that the CO2 we exhale with every breath is plant food. . .
they cleverly move the goal posts of the fraud to:
CARBON and Climate Change.
Appears a little wet for me,but I believe that 950 can handle the job. You got a couple good boys too!
You have a good setup for plowing there. You need more speed and drop your plow when still moving and your will have better results. I love the sound of the diesel and it's plenty of tractor for the job.
Thats a propane not a diesel.
@@joescheller6680 obviously you didn't watch the video. Go back to the video and watch it through before correcting people.
It's shut heavy that 5 bottom molbord , I pull a 5 bottom GL 70 disk plough with a Farmall M on steel wheels no matter how wet it is second gear ,those molbord are a lot harder to pull , my word that MM sounds strong 💪.
Pray for rain on that sod. Little bit wet there.
When you biff it with a semi mount plow, your really stuck!! Been there too
Cool video was wondering when did White and moline get together?? And 1 other question the bolts on the plow you adjusted can’t the bolt heads be on top is is there a clearance issue that way if the nuts can off bolt would still be there just asking thanks for sharing
It's such a a bummer you get excited to use something for the first time and then the "flaws" appear. I'm pretty certain eventually we'll see clutch repairs sometime in the future. Always some challenges and maybe a little disappointment. Bummer.
Your plow is running on its nose when the tractor is in the furrow. First initial setup should be to block up the left side of the tractor 7-8 inches, or half the width of the bottom. Then you should level it side to side with your right hand crank adjustment on the lift arm. Then level front to back after a couple passes.
I love seein them molines in their work clothes
Does your left brake noy work? You can apply the brakes lightly on the spinning tire to get totque transfer to the other tire. You should only get stuck when both wheels spin if you use the individual wheel brakes.
Nothing beats plowing with a Case or MM tractor
Have you decided what you will plant in that area yet?
Need a battery impact wrench
That is really wet. If you tilled any of the soil around here that wet you would wind up with baked mud bricks.
I agree. If wasn’t sandy, I would not have messed with it.
Do you have any Minneapolis marines that are four-wheel drive
Not currently
How does one justify a LP tractor isn’t that expensive
Looks like you need to attend your nearest farm auction where there selling some good old fashion RED POWER and find a good 1206, 1256 or bigger ! That Minni won't pull the hat off your head !
If it shines you're wasting your time
YOU HAVE TO MUCH PLOW FOR ANY OF YOUR TRACTORS THAT G 950 IS MISSING BAD THATS TOO BAD
